Dr. Ndudi Okechukwu Oparaeche, MD

The Dr has 2 Big Flaws: 1. He doesn't give a crap about the patient's situation or pain, Zero Empathy is a bad trait for any Doc. 2. His logic is flawed, he may know the "textbook" characteristics of a disease, but he does not understand that Arthritis is very complex and symptoms can vary within and between patients and any attempt at a "textbook" diagnosis is irresponsible. He withheld the only medicine that works for my condition, even though I have absolutely debilitating pain without it -- His logic - if it works, let's stop it. He is ultimately incompetent and is a waste of your time, money and hope. He does not listen to your input, rather he'll tell you some anecdotal story with a happy ending and that's his only insight. To boot, his staff is some of the most rude and presumptive people, they reflect his "who cares about you" mentality. Sorry to say, but they have all chosen the wrong profession and they should just fold up shop!

I couldn't be happier. Dr. Operaeche always listens, never rushes, and more importantly, is the top of his field for his expertise in Rheumatology. Thanks to him, I am virtually pain free.

Dr Ndudi O Oparaeche Has treated me for Rheumatoid Arthritis for a few years now. I was so bad I could barely walk. Now I am leading a normal life with full range of motion. Dr O is a life saver.

This “Doctor” treated my daughter so rude, I couldn’t believe it when she told me her experience. I read other reviews from other sites (WebMD) and it was exactly the same experience according to my daughter; if I had been there with her, they would’ve had to pull me off this idiot. No consideration for the patient whatsoever, waste of his time, and essentially called her a liar, said if she “had Lupus two years ago you’d be dead by now”, refused to run tests, and was in the room for approximately 5 minutes. Told her all the symptoms were in her head and wasn’t going to run any tests because even if it came back positive, it didn’t mean anything. These are the animals we award a degree to and call doctors; frigging sad state of affairs. I hope there’s a malpractice suit in his immediate future.

Dr. O., Has been caring for me for many years. Never rushing you he listens and trusts your input. If you think you need adjustments in treatment he gives you valued inside He is the bomb!

My husband has been seeing Dr O for over a year now. We switch from a provider that was just going through the motions. Dr. O and Laura are the best - they take time to advise you of everything you need to know and what to expect. I wish all my doctors were like him. We will never leave this practice.

My husband was misdiagnosed by two doctors prior to seeing this doctor. In one visit Dr. Opareachee made a diagnosis which a blood test confirmed. He does a very thorough physical assessment which is rare these days. The office staff is also fantastic.

I relocated to the Denver area from Chicago and needed to find all new doctors and was amazed at the headache this would create finding a competent doctor/specialist that really cares about their work and those they serve . I was refered to Dr. Oparaeche (Rheumatologist) by my new primary care physician after going to one of my choice , which by the way turned out to be a totally incompetent doctor . At any rate this doctor actually read page for page my " new patient intake forms " as well as my past doctor's notes before doing or asking anything . I was amazed because I see several specialists and have found the new patient paperwork is a waste of time because rarely are they ever read . I guess it is easier forthe lazy doctor's to just ignore it and simply ask what can I do for you . READ THE PAPERWORK YOU HAD ME FILL OUT AND YOU WILL SEE WHY I AM HERE !!! This doctor spent an hour and a half with me ! He explained to me clearly and was very thorough in his explaination and his… thoughts and further explained why he has drawn that conclusion . I was told he has a reputation for being a doctor who actually takes a vested interest in his patient's and boy that was exactly how he made me feel . I have many medical issues and as I said see and have seen many doctor's in my time . I am always pleasantly suprised when I have the pleasure of meeting and finding doctor's like this one to be part of my medical team . So yes , I HIGHLY recommend this doctor !

Dr. Oparaeche should give seminars to other medical specialists on how to treat patients with compassion and empathy. He is a doctor that will spend time with you, listen, and make you feel like a human being, not a number. I would recommend him to anyone with pain!!
