Dr. Neal Paul Barney, MD

Dr Barney has been my ophthalmologist for 9 years. In addition to annual apps he has also remove cataracts foe myself and my husband. He is very knowledgeable and professional.

I see Dr. Barney for bi-lateral uveitus and optic disc swelling and sometimes he is behind but I think it is because he spends times with his patients. He doesn't just run in and run out, he talks to you, does a thorough examination and then charts right there so you can ask questions. I feel he truly cares about his patients and their eye sight. The office staff though is very rude and and ignorant. I have heard them more than once talk about patients in front of other patients standing there waiting to check in or out. I called to get some information and the woman literally screamed on the phone to someone next to her "I'm on the phone" and right in my ear as well. If the Univeristy Eye clinic had new office staff I think the place would be great.
