I WAS A PATIENT OF DR. B TILL HE LEFT South Side Medical. I never mind going to his visits cuz it was always a pretty on schedule Appointment with very convenient office hours. I always left the office in a much better mood weather I was physically sick or just having a rough day. This doctor would honestly sit with me and listen to me with respect and compassion. I would even talk to him about my family. He was there when I was going through a rough time with my mother passing away. He listened and talked to me as if he personally knew her. His a very good doctor and would go the extra mile to try and make your life that much easier to deal with. He gives you trust and if YOU decide to ruin that because you lie to your own self than the jokes on you. Do not ever try and blame him for trying to help you on what you said was making your life so difficult to live with (pain wise). You get a good Doctor who tries to help you and you complaint - you get a doctor who off the back labels… you and you complaint as well. Witch one is it? May -be the real problem is you and no -one else so stop trying to find excuses! His great and I will recommend him 100%. Who ever haves him as their Doctor I will like to say that you are extremely lucky and Blessed. I sure miss him...

Dr B is the greatest Dr a patient can hope for, he was my Dr for twenty years until I moved to Fl and all I can say is going from an extraordinary Dr who truly cares to a bunch of Drs that don't have a moment to spend with you, you really appreciate what you had. He is intelligent, compassionate, and always makes time for you. To any individual blaming him got their own addiction, that is the words of a coward who needs the easy way out for an addiction you have not something your Dr treated you for. I will always be grateful for all this Dr has done for me. S.H.

Having been over prescribed OxyContin for years I thank Dr. B for the hellish withdrawal I am still experiencing.

I travel 35 miles to see the Doctor . He actually is interested in what you have to say. Spends time with you and doesn't rush you out of the office. Only problem is he's a Eagle fan.Great and caring Doctor .

When I stared seeing dr berkowits I was very happy from the time I met him. He spent the time to understand my needs and what I wanted. His options were good and he took the time to listen to my needs. He was not at all mean. With all the issues I had he was very caring and showed he cared started treating all of my conditions he has done many follow ups and has never failed me once. Yes I recommend anyone and everyone to see this dr. There was one thing I didn't like but it wasn't Dr Berkowitz fault was people in his staff when I came to dr to tell them I didn't have enough scrips to last till I see Dr again the lady at front desk said ok took my number said they would call its been two days no call back even if they didn't have ready I should have got a call they gave me the run around for days please don't take my number and say you'll call it's unprofessional and disrespectful. That's about all I have to say if it wasn't for good dr I'd leave.
