If I could give him 500 stars I would. The most compassionate wise and humble doctor I’ve ever met.

I saw 3 other hand surgeons before making an appointment with Dr. Chen. All the other DRs had written me off because they could not see any issue with my hand/wrist based on XRAY and MRI and just kept giving me cortisone shots that helped minimally. Dr. Chen reviewed all the imaging that I brought with me and ordered some of his own. He confirmed that there was no visible problem that he could see but instead of sending me on my way he offered to go in with the arthroscope to see what he could find. When I woke up from the short procedure he told me that as soon as he went in there he could see why I was in so much pain. We scheduled a surgery to fuse my wrist to correct my loose ligaments which went unbelievably smooth. 3 years later, you can barely see my tiny, perfectly straight scar. He made it clear that this was a temporary fix and that eventually I would need a metal plate put into my wrist and when that time comes I will be going back to him!

I went to Dr Chen after having a terrible experience with another Dr. Dr Chen was calm and explained all my options to.me. he didn't jump to do surgery but opt to try more conservative treatment. In the end I needed elbow surgery which he did skillfully. It took months of physical therapy as it was a serious injury but am very happy with the outcome I highly recommend this humble and kind surgeon.

Dr Chen And his Clinical assistant, Amanda Burns, have made my hand surgery an excellent experience. I have had 4 major surgeries in my life. Dr Chen is the finest Surgeon I've ever met or dealt with. His calm reassurance and ability to listen, truly made me feel at ease with every step of the process. Everyone in his office was pleasant and caring. A true bright spot in our health care system. I would highly recommend him to any family member or friend

Dr Chen is the best Surgeon I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He fixed my hand when I cut a tendon and ligament. His calm re-assurance made it very easy for me to agree to the surgery. The results were exactly what he described. The operation took place at Saint Mary's in Langhorne PA. It was the best hospital experience I have ever had. I have had 4 major surgeries before this one. I highly recommend Dr Chen. he is an amazing doctor and surgeon. He is a great guy too

I found Dr. Chen to be an excellent surgeon and person. He was not quick to jump into surgical options, tried injections and PT first for my shoulder and bicep. Always showed concern and took time, I never felt rushed. When surgery was decided necessary, Dr. Chen was very clear in his explanations of the surgical procedure, post-op expectations and outcomes. I could not have been more pleased with his expertise, professionalism and caring demeanor. I can say 100% that he is fantastic. Thanks Dr. Chen !
