Dr. Neal James Nesbitt, MD

During the initial visit NOTHING about the procedure was explained about what side effects I would be experiencing after. After the procedure NOTHING was explained to my wife about how the surgery went and what to expect when I went home. The recovery nurse had to continuously go back to him asking questions regarding meds, limitations, etc before I could go home. My 2 week follow up wasn’t with Dr. Nesbitt, it was with another surgeon who had NOTHING to do with my surgery, therefore no questions were answered because he “didn’t perform the surgery”. My final follow up was and 1.5 hr wait and was a quick in and out visit (minus the 1.5 hour wait and the 1.5 hours away from my job) What a pathetic excuse for patient care! If I or a family member EVER needs a general surgeon, we will be looking elsewhere.

When I go to a doctor, I do not want to hear a discourse on his politics. I felt trapped for at least 30 minutes being forced into a conversation about his right wing views. I would have been fired for such unprofessional behavior.

Dr Nesbitt did not treat me as if I were a person with feelings and emotions. He did not take the time to explain things to me and just "shrugged" me off. I was not impressed with his service.
