The doctor himself is just short and dismissive. I saw this doctor one time and I guess because I wasn’t actively dying thought any pain or discomfort I have isn’t real. The nurses that you talk to through the MyChart app are horrible especially his LPN Jade. She accused me of searching for pain meds when I explained that I was hurting and the steroid wasn’t working yet. I’ve had multiple conversations with the nurse and none of them are pleasant. The doctor doesn’t want to do any paperwork at all.

Dr. Shparago is an excellent clinician and a great doctor. He is not only competent in his own field but has extensive knowledge in all areas of medical practice.

I did not feel I was taken care of at all by this Dr. He diagnosed me with fibromyalgia but then told me that my GP could take care of that for me. Also he listed something on my paperwork that he never even discussed with me as far as a diagnosis. He told me that I would hear from him within 10 days to go over the results and that has not happened. I have called numerous times and gotten no response from his nurse plus sent messages on MyChart to only get one vague response or no response at all. Please save your time and money and look elsewhere. I wish that I had but he was the one I was referred to by my GP.

I went to Dr Shparago Because the previous Dr I saw (one) time dissmissed me after several blood tests came back normal. I was sent a note through the portal and that was that. Several months went by and I began having more difficulties with my hands. I’m having deformities in my fingers, massive pain/redness. I was worked in with him bc he took the previous dr’s place. I was told to be there 30 minutes ahead of my actual appointment or I would not be seen. I got there 45 minutes ahead of time. Waited for a little while in waiting area then went and had vitals and cane back for a few more minutes. When I was taken back to room the nurse came in and asked why I was there and updated my medication list bc they had it all wrong from previous time. When the doctor came in he assessed my problems however after he heard my concerns/ complaints he basically told me that I needed to try water aerobics and that other then that I have Osteoarthritis and hyper mobility and nothing could be done… except for exercise. WHAT???? Are You kidding me? No medication, no medical advice on why or what caused this.... I expressed how this was Very debilitating and now a life long sentence.... No care in the world.... the next day I sent an email through the web portal and also a few days later. I finally got a response from the nurse stating that I should seek medical treatment from a general doctor now.... WHAT THE HECK???? SERIOUSLY!!! Your Dang right I won’t be back!!! Yalls Doctors are in serious need of some bedside Manner training!!!

Shparago came to Mississippi from Chicago because he couldn't make it there or anywhere else. Always in a hurry to get to the next customer (yes, "customer" -- not patient. You will never be a "patient" with this character. He finds ways to mine your medical insurance such as throat exams that have nothing to do with joints. Also, he is NOT a medical doctor. Right! He is not an M.D. It makes a difference. He looks just like Harpo Marx and makes about as much sense. Save yourself -- find a real medical doctor.

I believe this Dr.was my doctor in the Air Force,outstanding doc,very prepared,caring,all around good guy,figured out my health problems quickly,chose the correct drugs and treatment plan,probably the best doc I had the entire time I was in the service.

The absolutely rudest man I have ever met. No bedside manner. Didn't look at blood work, X-rays from 6 years ago and insulted me. Claimed I wanted "a diagnosis" and he wasn't giving to me. Wouldn't send my cat to such an irrogant man.

So grateful that Dr. Shparago moved to Temple!!! For the first time in years my rheumatoid arthritis is completely controlled and I can golf and garden without pain. He is great at explaining things and always answers all my questions.

Dr. Shparago diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and took care of me for many years. He always took the time to listen to all of my needs. I now have no one to take care of me. I hope that he gets the message that I sent to him, because I need his help. He is the best and missed very much.
