Dr. Neal A. Stansbury, MD

Dr. Stansbury performed a left shoulder arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, biceps tenodesis, subacromial decompression and debridement in May 2022. The surgery was quick and successful. The Dr was easily accessible post surgery and his advice and assistance contributed to a relatively pain free and speedy recovery. I was active and recovered 4 months post surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Stansbury.

Dr Stansbury was no help to me, I should've listened to the other reviews. The problem with my hips, in his eyes, is not able to be fixed. He suggested I use a cane for a pinched nerve, a bone deformity and a deteriorating labrum. His bedside manner was the worst I've ever experienced! Save yourself the trouble and find a doctor who actually cares about their patients.

Do not go to Dr. Stansbury, he spent only a few minutes with me, did and suggested absolutely nothing different than the pcp who referred me to him in the first place. Then I get bill for $800!! Are you kidding me!!! GARBAGE!!

Inadvertently, it marked a 1 for Bedside Manner , it should of registered a 5 , Dr. Stansbury does an excellent job addressing your questions , concerns and demonstrates great patience , I couldn't say enough good things about him and everyone has shared the same experiences as I did , he treated my broken kneecap 18 years ago with the same positive results

Dr. Stansbury is by far at the top of his field , from consultation , he described and drew out the exact game plan , scheduled me in for surgery within days and post operation explained in detail of exactly how the surgery went , answered every question in specific detail and his entire staff worked as a total team effort with great concern and all highly skilled , I would recommend Dr. Stansbury to anyone in his field of expertise.

Dr. Stansbury is a great sports medicine doc. He got me into his office the next day after a crash, fixed me up and got me back on the bike very quickly.

Waited 6 weeks for an appointment to fix shoulders, I could not raise arms above waist. Had MRI and xray the doc wanted nerve tests, going through his office that meant another 6 week wait, I found another office to do the tests in a week, OAA, trying to reschedule with his office was not possible, I needed to drive 25 miles and do it in person. After all this he said he would operate if I wanted, but, there was nothing wrong besides old age, 62. I have since gone to OAA seen Dr. Hawk had great success with my arm movement. Stansbury is an arrogant, expensive waste of time.

I am a 69yr. old man who over a 45 year period have had 26 surgeries due to sports injuries and wear and tear of joints and tendons. Out of the 26 orthropedic surgeries, 15 of them were performed by Dr. Stansbury, which such surgeries performed by him included surgeries to both shoulders, both knees, patella tendons, both elbows and a torn hamstring. Every surgery I have had performed by Dr. Stansbury has been successful. Although I am 69, I still excercise strenously and as a result suffer occasional injuries. I always go to Dr. Stansbury for treatment. Whether the prescribed treatment is physical therapy, cortisone shots, medical devices, medication or simply rest, he always prescribes a course of treatment that fixes the problem.

I wish I could turn back time. I didn't listen to my gut. Instead of fixing my problem, he made it worse. I don't know how this guy got his medical license. Don't let him do to you what he did to me, go elsewhere. Fast!
