Dr. Neal Taub is arrogant, liar, doesn't listen to his patients at all and has a HORRIBLE bed side manner. I went to him as I was in severe pain. He asked what helped my pain and I told him what helped (narcotics). Ive literally tried everything. Muscle relaxers, beta blockers, infusions, injections etc. He said he wasn't going to give me any narcotics because I was to young to be having these issues. I said I agree but the fact still remains I'm in chronic pain everyday. I said if you can't give me narcotics, what else do you suggest? He gave me a prescription for naltraxone. Naltraxone is a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to treat both opioid and alcohol. I don't drink alcohol much at all; maybe on a special occasion, like New Years but never enought to classify me as an alcoholic. I've never taken or been prescribed opiods in my life. I don't even know what they are. So, I googled the medicine; like I do anything a doctor prescribes to me. It is pretty much a withdrawal… medicine. What am I withdrawing from? I wasn't on any medication at the time I saw him. None at all! So I asked the nurse what was next, she said he didn't want to see you again. I said huh, I'm confused. She said he told her that he doesn't help drug addicts or alcoholics. I said I'm neither one of those. She said I'm so sorry. Can I help you with anything else? I said no, thank you. It wasn't his nurses fault, it was his fault. How can you have people come to you for your pain needs and you give them nothing at all. I told him I was in pain 99% of the time. He even told me to lose weight. I said I'm 180 lbs and if I lose anymore I'll disappear. I was very very un-happy with Dr. Taub. I went back to the doctor that refered him to me and he couldn't believe it. I have it on tape and played it for my doctor. He was in disbelief. I recorded it because everyone seems to think I'm lying when I tell them what these doctors say to me. I have a disabled child and just want to be able to care for him the right way; plus I don't like pain. Nobody should have to suffer like this.

He listens and cares. He has truly given me a healthier and much better days to spend with my grandson. I am forever grateful.

After seeing him for 12 years my friend can not get her medication due to an error that he brought to her attention. She has tried to resolve the issue with no luck and he is punishing her by not giving her medication until resolved. Someone in his office could probably resolve issue with a couple of calls. I don’t understand his reasoning at all. Very unprofessional.

If you asked me last month to review him then I’d have given a 2 or 3. There’s nothing spectacular about him nor is there anything abhorrently negative either. However, let me explain the 1 star and my comment about the office. My entire life I’ve had an insanely shy bladder. Embarrassingly so actually. Thank God EVERY OFFICE in the multitude of states I’ve lived in has always had secondary options. Most notably a Buccal swab. I have had to sit in this mans office pounding water, that I know will not help, in order to see him for a medication that if missed will make me very sick. Some months I had to come back 2 additional times. Then one month I come in and I find out that in fact he does have Buccal swabs!!! He told me that they are expensive bc of sending them for testing. I guess he couldn’t find a better priced lab unlike allllll physicians I’ve ever known. I let it go and found a way around my problem which all his staff knew…..that I inundated my bladder with so much soda and… coff that my bladder had no other option. Had an appointment for a month and his staff knew I was coming in. When I got there the office was backed up. I asked if I could just give my sample and sit back down and let others go. I was visibly in pain but I was told no that I had to wait for the 4 or 5 whatever others to go first. The entire time I was speaking with staff….BATHROOM WAS VACANT bc I could see it. So AGAIN I would’ve had to reschedule and my own dr put me into a state of sickness without meds.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST “DOCTOR” on this planet !!! First off, they have(or had) an absolutely filthy dog running in & out of every patients rooms. Very unsanitary !! I had injections in my back with dog hair flying everywhere. Also , they were( probably still are ) very understaffed & that buffoon Taub actually dismissed me b/c I politely requested a doctor/patient relationship without interruptions from Scooby Doo !!! And I love dogs !!! Time & place for everything though. Thank God I have a good clean facility & a doctor that doesn’t think he’s three feet taller than the rest of us deplorables. What an arrogant know nothing do nothing “doctor” who has no reason to be arrogant ! BEWARE - DO yourself a favor - don’t even bother to waste your time or $$ - find a respectable doctor to treat you as you should be treated

Would not recommend this dr to anyone not even my worst enemy I went for pain addiction trying to get off them and he prescribed me something that I set there in plainly told him that made me sick in break out dont waist your time or money with this arrogant dr

I took both my wife and my mother to Dr. Taub for pain management. He is very knowledgeable and uses many different techniques to get the job done. In both cases, they had seen other very good doctors. But when it came to pain management, it was Dr. Taub who got the job done.
