Dr. Nouhad Yacoub Moussa, MD

OMG -- what a terrible experience! Arrogant, rude, condescending and slower than any doctor I have ever seen. My son got a simple Xray to check for a broken arm and we were there for 4 HOURS waiting for him to discharge us. I knew the Xray was negative from the patient portal you can access from your iPhone, but he just never came back. Wow. I would avoid him at all costs.

Wow, this was a horrible experience for the most part. We like St. Joseph's and have been there a few times with our kids for various problems and have always had a positive experience. This visit was different. We were there for a concern for a broken arm after our son fell. We were put in a room almost right away and then were seen by a nurse practitioner quickly. Our X-rays were done pretty fast, and the nurse practitioner told us our results pretty fast. She said her doctor (Dr. Moussa) would be with us shortly to review things. Well, 2.5 hrs later, he finally came in. In case you think it was busy, it was absolutely NOT busy. in fact, we came out to the desk a couple of times to inquire what was going on, and each time he was sitting at his computer. So, it wasn't like he was running around. Also the ER had several empty rooms at the time we were there. After asking a few times if he was ever going to come see us, he finally came in with a flourish. This… man might be a good doctor, but he clearly has a superiority complex. He never once apologized for keeping us waiting all that time, when we KNEW the X-ray had been completed and already read by the radiologist b/c the nurse told us. It was so frustrating. I realize that there were other patients in the ER at this time, but this was ridiculous.

I saw Dr Moussa in the ER with my son on are visit to Tampa Fl.... He is by far the nicest most proffessional man you can have to over see your childs care.... He by far put my fears to rest when i met him. Being in another state away from your Dr who you trust is not a good situation for a 20 month old child but now i know where to go if needed:) Thank you Dr!!!

This visit started off strong, but failed after that. First off, we only waited about 20 minutes in the waiting room to be brought to a room. That seemed great. We were seen by a doctor's assistant within a couple of minutes. Also -- great! He explained things well regarding what he thought was going on, and why we needed to have a couple of tests done for our son. He then said he would speak with his supervising physician Dr. Moussa. Well, we never saw Dr. Moussa for 3 HOURS even though our tests were completed in 41 minutes. Our nurse had to keep telling us that "you are just waiting for the doctor to review things and come see you." I understand when people get busy, but this was truly outrageous. I kept asking our nurse what was going on, and then I heard the family in the room next to me were having the same concerns. I asked that mom and she said she had been there waiting for the results of an arm X-ray that had been done 3 HOURS ago, but Dr. Moussa still… hadn't come to see him. When he finally came to our room there was no apology about the excessive wait time. He spoke politely, but you can see immediately how arrogant he is. He said he was going to discharge us, and then that process took another 75 minutes!! Unreal. We were miserable. If I ever have to go back to the ER, I will specifically ask not to see Dr Moussa because I don't think it is appropriate to be there for 5 hours when everything was completed within 1 hour. We love St. Joseph's and everyone else has been excellent, but this guy with his makeup and his overdone cologne is a nightmare! Terrible.

We were very pleased with this doctor. The way he treated my daughter and talk to us was very polite and very professional.

This was a terrible experience. Dr. Moosa was incredibly rude to us, saying directly that our visit was not serious enough for the Emergency Room. He was so condescending. Just because you are a doctor does not mean you can speak to people that way. I would never willingly see this man again. On top of that, he is the slowest physician I have ever encountered. My X-ray was done for 2 HOURS before he came and gave us the result. Are you kidding me???

While Dr Moussa might be a good physician, his arrogance is very off-putting. He barely let me speak and everything he said seemed very condescending. He was very polite to my son though, and I appreciated that, but his superior attitude toward my husband and I was quite obnoxious. On top of that, he was really, really slow. Our nurse told me that all the tests were completed and we didn't see Dr Moussa again for at least 90 more minutes. That seemed really excessive to me.

Rude, arrogant know it all. Very, very slow.
