Dr. Neda Amini, MD

Neda Amini, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in surgical oncology. She cares for people with cancers of the stomach, adrenal glands, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts and appendix. She also cares for patients with melanoma and metastatic disease, including liver and peritoneal metastases and rare tumors such as neuroendocrine tumor and GIST. She performs open and minimally invasive (robotic) surgery.Dr. Amini earned her medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She followed that with a post-doctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital and a residency at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. She finished her fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Northwell Health in New Hyde Park, NY.She is an active member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, the American College of Surgeons and the International Hepatopancreatobiliary Association.
