Dr. Neela Jayesh Shukla, MD

My kids see her at The Children's Clinic in Destrehan and I have been going there for 18yrs. Over the yrs it pretty much has been a pleasent place, until the kids strted seeing her. She is disrespectful, rude and unprofessional she makes mean, ugly and insulting comments as if you are not supposed to catch on to them until you respond to her ugly comments she then try to change her tone and fix what she has said. My kids and I hate going there when she's there..Her and the girls that check you in has made that place awful...They lie and tell you that they are closed when you get there whever they feel they don't want to see anymore patients or she have them say that the doctor had to leave for an emergency at the hospital. I have been let down on several occasions when my kids was really sick and needed to be seen. It's very very sad and disgusting the way they are operating out of that office now, but I must say this its not all of the Dr's in there that are like that Dr. Stanley and… Dr. Shuja are wonderful great Dr's . So just take notice if she (Dr. Shukla) ever treat your kids. I highly don't recommend anyone who is looking for their kids to be in good care to see (Dr.Shukla) is not the right pediatric doctor or the person to be dealing with kids. She most definitely need to change. My kids will no longer be seen there as long as she and the front end staff is there or if they're still operating in the same order..Anybody can get a job over there fresh out of high school, so so sad..I give her no stars

She is a great Dr. Very caring. My girls love her.
