All was well for the first year of my son’s journey with Dr Soares. However, when he was struggling to find something that would help my autistic/ADHD child he completely stopped all care. Dropping him completely. He wouldn’t refill his script for at least a month until I found another doctor! Making my son go into horrible withdraws of medication he had been on for 7+ years. Shameful and disgrace. Pushes you out the door. Do NOT recommend.

Speaking from experience as he guided me when he was here in Kentucky for several years with my son. He is to the point and doesn't candy coat mistakes parents make or teachers for that matter. While raising my son, positive reinforcement was key when he was young. Now he is 18 and still stable on the same medication Dr. Soares had him on years ago. I will always be grateful for Dr. Soares!

All he did was bad-mouth our long-time and beloved peditrician. Spewed negativity and offered nothing. Essentially accused me being the root cause of my child's struggles, and was anything but helpful. WILL NEVER GO BACK!

Patronizing and judgmental -- when I could understand what he was actually saying. Seemed very distracted and kept asking if I had a problem with him. Very paranoid.
