So I understand this is South Florida and there are significant substance abuse issues. With that said, and in the interest of transparency, I did say that I would like to try a low-dose adderall during the initial conversation because I was having a lot of trouble focusing. I've used it before for a short period and it worked really well. As soon as I said it, it became clear the doctor had no desire to understand what was going on with me, she outright refused to write me a prescription and couldn't have seemed more disinterested in my suffering. I was treated like a drug addict seeking a fix (which I'm not). I will never go back here and would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
