Dr. Neeta Ahuja, MD

Let me be clear: Dr Neeta Ahuja is calm and kind. However, I believe that she is SO ill-informed about some Cancers. It is so unfortunate that she does not just come clean with the facts, that she does not have the knowledge to admit that she is not familar with specialized cancers. She is very stubborn about referring pts. out to a specialist. I have had experience with this, and her lack of knowledge of Multiple Myeloma was a major factor in the death of my husband. She even referred to his tumors on his head, as something other than his Cancer........that's pretty BAD! Again, she's a nice person, she just needs to be honest about her training and help SAVE lives not end them. I'm so sorry that I trusted her as long as I did, and it wasn't very long. We were not the only ones that have had issue with her. Good luck if you or your loved one is fighting CA. My advice is spend time with eachother, talk, ask the person their fears...because once you get in the medical fight, it… is a full-time job for the PT. and advocate! Do what you can, what's normal....it shouldn't be like fighting a war w/the medical people.

Dr. Ahuja is one of the best physicians I have ever dealt with. She immediately puts you at ease and is totally devoted to her patients. She does an extremely thorough job examining a patient's condition.
