Was seeing Dr Ortiz for a few years & he helped me so much with my depression & anxiety. He is very respectful & professional, was very happy to have him as my doctor. When the office he was working at closed down, due to owner selling the building. I was lost to find another doctor like Dr. Ortiz. He is very professional & a great doctor, I would recommend him to everyone.

I have several psychological diagnoses such as very depressive PTSD panic disorder anxiety and he has always been very respectful and I have improved a lot and the change in my life is very noticeable

Dr Ortiz has been treating me and my son since 2002, but this pass year things have been get worst with my son and for 9 months I kept telling him and until my son total lost it in the office, he never believed me. When you call him, he never returns your phone calls. Now trying to get our medical records, he will give them to us.

I've been suffering from depression since I was a teen. Dr. Ortiz has been very patient and understanding with me. He listens and makes suggestions. I wasn't aware he had a seizure disorder until I read it online. It's not his job to talk about himself. My only compliant is it's sometimes difficult to get in touch with him and occasionally he'll miss an appointment.

I suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks. Another doctor already had me on the right antidepressant. I somehow ended up with Ortiz at tree of life mental health. He will not even let me finish a sentence before forcing me onto weird medications that only worsen my symptoms. He doesn't believe in benzos and keeps putting me on things that do not work even when I explain everything to him. I've been on three 1 mg klonopins since I started at tree of life via a different doctor who left the practice. He will not change my benzo prescription and will not even let me bring the subject up.
