Never showed to our appointments

I came to this woman in tears begging for help. She spoke to me for less than two minutes before giving me a diagnosis that I'd had in the past that went against what every doctor I'd had after had told me. All i asked was for her to tell me what criteria made her come to that conclusion and she immediately refused to speak further, saying "if you don't understand why that's your diagnosis this won't work". I was stunned. I asked her if she was seriously denying to see me, not because I was arguing or refusing her treatment but because i simply asked what made her feel that way? She told me i had done nothing wrong but it was her right to refuse a patient and this wouldn't work. I asked if she could at least give me some meds until I could find a new doctor because i wasn't well. She said "I'm not prescribing medication to someone who isn't my patient". I have tried for weeks to find a doctor and this is the first one who would take my insurance.. sent away because of the… crime of questioning her to understand my own diagnosis and problem symptoms. I self harmed for the first time in years tonight and now I'm going to the hospital. This woman is evil. I hope the universe sorts this situation out because this woman should not be in charge of mentally ill people. God bless the sweet receptionist. Hopefully she can find a job with human beings and not a soulless husk of a human shaped form who would turn away a suicidal person in tears because they didn't understand a diagnosis. I will be filing a report with my insurance and I will be taking this further. This is only my first review of many coming for this evil "person".

She doesn't care about patients. As soon as I told her that we got insurance she sent a message to the receptionist saying that she wouldn't see my daughter any more and reason was that she didn't fit in her group. What a stupid reason!

On a Saturday I receive a text confirming our very first appointment for Wednesday. Wednesday I check my daughter out of school, drive an hour away on heavy rain and heavy traffic. Just as I was arriving the office I receive a call stating they “hope” I received their messages... I did not receive a message ever! The person informed me the doctor was not going to be in the office for our appointment! The person on the phone while apologizing with laughter was deflecting culpability by saying she called several times! But not once did she leave a message, NOR a text for that matter! I am still furious! My daughter was ready for this appointment as she has patiently waited to get help and was so disappointed as was I. I told her to cancel us, if you can’t show empathy for the inconvenience your mistake caused us how can you show empathy for a patients m/h situation. No thank you!

She is like a ticking bomb I was pick up an order from one of the neighbor business and she comes out yelling and screaming and got very disrespectful and started say racial slurs I’m an African American Man did not even bother this woman and she disrespected somebody that is not her client I can imagine how she deals with her actual clients she needs to be seen not be doctor

My experience with Dr. Khurana was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a psychiatrist in my 16 year long history of working with therapists. My previous psychiatrist decided to no longer accept insurance, so naturally it made the most financial sense for me to find a new doctor. After speaking with her front desk person I was assured Dr. Khurana could help me with panic attacks and anxiety treatment. However, the impression I got before I went to her office and after were COMPLETELY different. She was rude, disorganized, not engaging, and frankly acted like I was an inconvenience. After prescribing me medication that does not help break panic attacks and instead treats mild daily anxiety (not what I asked for at all) I tried to get in touch with her office to let her know that this wasn't I was looking for to help me, and I expressed that I didn't feel like she really heard me or listened to what my issues were. Well I guess she didn't like that because from then… on I was ignored and passed off to her front desk person for about a week . After a very frustrating week of trying to get in touch with her I received a phone call from her admin that I have been "terminated from the practice and will receive a formal letter along with a recommendation elsewhere." I asked why she would do that at the lady said "I am just the messenger & that's all the information I have." That was the RUDEST, COLDEST, most HEARTLESS way I could have ever imagined a doctor treating a patient who just wanted to change her medication. I'm a very nice person who works in healthcare myself and I would never ever treat someone like that. Needless to say I will never be going back here again, and take my advice- you shouldn't either.
