Dr. Neil Allen, MD

I saw Dr.Neil Allen on May 16,23, he is amazing, he spent over an hour going over all my tests & MRI’s & answered my questions I have been wondering about for over 2 years! He explained everything to me & what I had to do to live a normal life, Dr. Neil Allen is 1 in a million & his employees are kind and considerate!! HE IS THE BEST NEUROLOGIST AROUND!!

I had been to two other Neurologists before I saw Dr. Allen. Once I saw him, I finally felt like I got the answers to the questions I had been asking for two years prior. Dr. Allen has helped me tremendously with understanding what is happening with me, and if I don't understand something, he explains it so that I do. He is a doctor that doesn't stop looking for a cure, or at the very least, he finds comfort for his patient. At any rate, he always puts 200% into everything he does.

My family and I got absolutely zero out of working with Dr. Allen. He is brash, rude, and condescending. Took our appointment 30 minutes late, and spent half the time going off on tangents that had nothing to do with my father’s health. He dismissed our concerns and acted like our questions were stupid. Multiple other doctors we’re consulting completely disagreed with his decisions. Stay away from this doctor.

Great doctor

I have been very pleased with Dr. Allen's professional knowledge and get along well with him on a personality level. However, I can see where others would not be as comfortable on the personal side -- he doesn't give the "warm and fuzzies" and hand-holding but does give a very clear and thorough medical opinion.

dr allen let me go abruptly for missing 2 appts for legitimit medical reasons. i wasvinpatient on one occsion and two nights without sleep after being in the er for nerve pain. i called each time to let the office know and apologize. suddenly i received a snail mail informing me i am no longer a patient w no reason given. cruel. i have a braon tumor a am bedridden in chronic pain and severe fatigue. i am on the brink of suicide. just searching for a new doctor is going to be exhausting. he would not even give me a second chance

He was able to diagnose my problem back in 1986 when several other neurologists could not, after several years of looking for medical help for my seizures. He has been my neuro since then, and he has gotten me the help I needed, and found the BEST neurosurgeon for my brain tumor. His personality is great, and we've always gotten along perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend him.

He is a strange doctor , I had very bad out come with him

Dr. Allen is smart and he is able to diagnose. However, if you are going to see him know that before you walk through his office door he is a a very egocentric man. He will talk about himself and he will talk down to you. He is not the type of doctor that is warm and fuzzy and going to sit and hold your hand or be sensitive to your needs. If you are looking for that then look somewhere else. If you do not need that and are looking for a diagnosis, he is very competent in neurology.
