Dr Block WAS my dr for many years. From childhood till my late twenties. When I was a young teenager (14-15) I started experiencing aweful migraines , desperate for an answer and desperate not to be locked in a dark room, in pain 2 to 3 days a week. I told Dr Block how I was feeling and even begged him at times for a cat scan or MRI insisting I must have some tumor inside me. He told me, under the guise of caring for my families financial status, that those tests would be far too expensive for us to afford with no insurance. Dr Block only charged us $90 per visit. I trusted him. And I was just a young girl with no dad. He began prescribing me a drug balled Barbatol .. Or something like that. I didn't realize what I was taking.. But it quickly stopped working. Then he upped the anti with Vicodin. He told me I was depressed and he had me on a slew of other drugs including but not limited to: Xanax(3x daily), amytriptaline(2x daily), trazodone(nighttime), seraquil(once daily), Percocet… AND Vicodin (daily for pain) . There were other drugs too that are not listed but those were the bigger players. Towards the end I had developed such a dependency and my childhood family Dr was my supplier. He would charge me 20 bucks per script and he would tape them to the door for me. He was also supplying many acquaintances of mine too. Acting as a Dr. It's wrong that he is still in practice. He almost destroyed me. He not only almost literally hurt me with drugs but he almost hurt my future too. Proud to say that not only am i on zero medications but I am now happily married with two beautiful children. As long as I live I will continue to share what I have experienced with this man. In hopes to help prevent him from hurting anyone else.
