Dr. Neil W. Culligan, MD

MY MOTHER WENT TO THIS DOC, HE PRESCRIBED MEDICATION, WHEN, IN TIME, THIS MEDICATION DID NOT WORK, WE CALLED HIS OFFICE, HE JUST INCREASED THE DOSAGE, THAT DID NOT WORK, WE CALLED THE OFFICE AGAIN, AND HE JUST INCREASED THE DOSAGE AGAIN. IN TIME, MY MOTHER COULD NOT WALK OR STAND, SOOOO OVERDOSED ON THIS MEDICATION THIS CULLIGAN PRESCRIBED. WE IMMEDIATELY TOOK HER TO ANOTHER DOCTOR, HE SAID TO TAKE HER OFF ALL THE MEDICATIONS THIS CULLIGAN PRESCRIBED. THIS CULLIGAN OBVIOUSLY NEVER READ, LOOKED AT HER CHART, WE, THE FAMILY, TOLD HIM SHE WAS EXTREMELY SENSITIVE TO DRUGS, LOOK WHAT HE DID TO HER. THESE DOCTORS DO NOT CARE, THEY HAVE THESE DOCTOR DEGREES SO THEY CAN PRESCRIBE DRUGS, ALL THEY EVER DO IS WRITE PRESCRIPTIONS, OVERDOSE PATIENTS. THEY NEVER READ THEIR PATIENTS CHARTS/RECORDS. THIS IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE. THEY ARE-OWNED BY THE PHARMA COMPANIES AND PRESCRIBE THEIR DRUGS. PATIENTS BEWARE!!!

My Dad visited him yesterday. The Dr. kept his attention mostly on his computer. Dr had little to say. My Dad felt it was a waste of time seeing him. He doesn't share what he's observing.

My mother went to this Neil Culligan for quite some time for hand tremors from a medication she was on. The tremors became worse and this Culligan kept increasing the dosage of this medication until my mother was a vegetable and could not even stand up. She was SO overdosed. He never looked at her chart to see that she was very sensitive to medications. This Culligan did my mother such an INJUSTICE. They call themselves doctors, all they do is write prescriptions and overdose their patients while they go on vacation.

My first and only visit with DR. Culligan was a horrible experience. After describing my symptoms to him, the first words out of his mouth were, you probably think that you have a brain tumor. Prior to setting up an appointment with him, as a Heath care professional myself, I figured that I was having olfactory hallucinations. This lead me to the conclusion that I had an issue with my right temporal lobe. A brain tumor was high on my list. My diagnosis in 2012 was a Grade 3 Astrocytoma. Unfortunately, Yes, I have brain tumor/cancer. I would not recommend him to anyone, EVER!

It is very apparent from his behavior, that the Dr. Simply cannot stand to be around his patients. The man barely speaks, very unfriendly, will not answer the most basic questions, and in general behaves as though he is doing you a huge favor by seeing you!! I believe he has some social anxiety, and is more comfortable with his computer. In the future he should think about using Skype for seeing his patients. It is obvious he really doesn't want them in his office. The entire practice known as associated neurologists has gone downhill, Danbury Hospital would be doing its patients a favor if they would let in a few more neurologists.

If you need prompt service, do not use the entire practice he is associated with. The staff are incredibly unhelpful and I had to go more than two weeks without medication because the staff were either unavailable or wouldn't return my calls. I landed in the hospital more than once from their incompetence. He is also afraid to try new treatments. He's spinal tap happy.

I took my father in to see him seeking for help from a doctor who specializes in stroke because my father had a stroke 2 years ago.He did not want to spend time with us,gave us no answers and seemed not to care about our situation.He was very cold hearted and barely looked at my dad. I even asked him "You are a stroke specialist right".I would NOT refer anyone who needs help and medical care to go to this man.
