Dr. Neil Feld, MD

16 years ago Dr. Feld came into my delivery room to check on my first born. He was gentle and soft spoken. He asked if we had a pediatrician and we said no. He gave us his office number to schedule his newborn appointments and his cell phone number for any concerns or questions we had regarding our first baby. He ALWAYS answered my calls. 16 years we have seen Dr. Feld and his office always worked us in and returned our calls. I respect Dr. Feld and I trust him.

I don't know what to think, He seems to be different every time we go. He will take time with you, but I have heard them talking about patients when I went to the restroom. which leads me to think they are 2 faced I don't want to take my child to a doctor who is going to judge my child when he walks out of the room. They always have different employees they can NEVER keep help. Which is no surprise with how his wife treats their employees in front of patients might I add, I couldn't imagine what goes on behind the scenes.

We have been through highs and lows with Dr. Feld from birth through teenage years. I can not express how grateful we are to him and his staff for going above and beyond, He has been a blessing.

If you want your child to ever get vaccines then do not take them to Tots and Teens. They are always out of vaccines because they do not keep them stocked and most recently the secretary told me “we do not have a nurse right now to give shots” when I called to ask. There is always somebody different each time we take our child and I’m not surprised they can’t keep employees because I have seen his wife disrespect the employees firsthand. If I was an employee I would not tolerate being treated like that either. One day when we were in the waiting room she was up in the front office cursing and my child even heard it. We will definitely not ever be going back there.

Dr. Feld is a caring doctor that takes time with his patients. When I’ve had to have my son seen for an unscheduled appointment, Dr Feld has always been available.

The Healthgrades and Yellowpage reviews are numerous and definitely not 5 stars. He was initially our pediatrician until the last visit. He was confused and thought my child was on TennCare. We actually had Humana. My wife told him this AFTER he berated her by saying he would NOT write a prescription for our child because he was paying for it and railed against TennCare. Once she informed him we had Humana he wrote the prescription! What happens if he assumes you are on TennCare even though you aren't and treats your child differently? The nice and caring for kids depends on what insurance you have? That's unethical "Dr." Feld.

We love Dr Feld! He goes above and beyond to take care of my girls. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

My child has been under Dr. Feld's care over 10 years. He goes to great lengths to make sure nothing is over looked. i have personally seen him working with infants in a NICU, and his soft voice was very calming to the babies. I recommend him to anyone who asks. I can't say enough positive about his practice.

You have to leave a message on nurse line decribing symptoms, they call for additional info. If you don't say your child has a fever over 100 they won't call with an appt. My child has suffered headaches for over a month and I was willing to wait a couple of days but the nurse never called back with an appointment. If you are lucky enough to go in, they run over 2 hours late on scheduling. With a sick miserable child to me that's unacceptable. They don't have the staff for the number of patients they are trying to treat. We end up in the ER because we can't get appointments when needed.

I have given this practice the benefit of the doubt many times. However I have decided to take my children elsewhere. Dr. Feld never explains what is wrong with your child. I really do not think he ever diagnoses anything. Just give them antibiotics and send them on seems to be his policy. He is rude and belittling. My youngest child was once in the hospital with a respiratory problem. We had a lot of tests. No one would give us any information. When Dr. Feld finally showed up 2 days later to check on her he simply examined her and was going to leave without telling us anything. When I asked him what was wrong with her he got angry and told me he was the Doctor. He did not even know she had had tests and chest X-rays. When I asked him about the X-rays he said, "oh, she had some chest x-rays? I will take a look". He returned a short time later to tell us the tests showed she had pneumonia. This was my first bad experience with this doctor. I could go on and on. He is a terrible doctor.… His wife also works at this practice. She is a miserable person, basicly a witch. He did not even get his medical degree in the USA. Stay away from this man if you love your children.
