Staff will call you for an appointment and all that they have availability for is several months later. This is unacceptable. If you truly are trying to 'help' patients by calling them for their appointments, maybe do so three months earlier than they need to come back. They would rather your prescription run out then see you. The 'solution' that they offer is to call their office every single day to get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. Most places have a list that you can be put on for cancellations. Do not expect more than the bare minimum from the staff. Dr. Goldberg is a fine doctor. His staff is the problem.

Staff is rude. Staff relies on outdated communication techniques such as mailed letters. Phone number when dialing out is unregistered and appears as a private number. When speaking with them they had been very condescending regarding why I didn't know I had an appointment. Very very poor. Boo.

I went to Dr. Goldberg for treatment of a leg wound that he failed to properly diagnosis. Refuses to order an MRI when it was obvious the wound was on the bone. When challenged on his medical decisions, he then tells me I should see a wound center. He strings you along just for the revenue he gets for multiple visits.

Seemed in a hurry to get me in and out of there, which he did after a quick (incorrect as it turned out) diagnosis.

We first saw Dr. Goldberg for a rash that mystified my daughter's pediatrician, about 15 years ago. He cured it -- by telling us to get Cetaphil! Nothing fancy -- just smart. Dr. Goldberg encouraged watchful waiting for a mole on my daughter's back. He's taken are of any number of problems for me, and recently I got my mother to see him for a second opinion. Her dermatologist had prescribed a course of Efudex for actinic keratoses -- which my mother wasn't looking forward to, because she had a bad reaction to a previous course some years ago. Dr. Goldberg came up with a different and still effective course of action -- rather than Efudex every day for 21 days, Efudex on weekends only for three months, after initially freezing the largest keratoses. And he did the initial treatment right then -- we didn't have to make an appointment and come back. That appointment was easy to get (we were flexible about whether the Bronxville or WP office); staff are great; we waited less than 20… minutes; Goldberg is knowledgeable and personable and willing to spend time explaining things and answering every question. Couldn't be happier with him and the way he takes care of my family.

I agree with most of the other posters here--I think this guy's more interested in money than treating his patients. Had a small wart on my finger. Went to see Goldberg three times at the White Plains office. First time around, I told him the wart had been frozen multiple times in the past and came back with a vengeance every time. Try something else, I told him. Didn't listen. Kept roping me back in. Three treatments and a year later, the wart's twice the size and he did nothing but charge me hundreds of dollars. Turns out he doesn't even have the specialized treatment I need available at his office. Thanks a lot Doc. Find a different dermatologist; I am.

I visited doctor Goldberg for acne. At first he treated me very well, then a couple months in he suggested Accutane without even asking me for my permission. He shoved it down my throat and did not give me any time to process or ask questions. I was extremely uncomfortable with the treatment he suggested and he never asked if that was what i wanted to do. Needless to say, i am not going back to him.

He's only in for the money. He rushes you out within 5 minutes and upsets him when you want to thorough answers to your skin problems. There are better Dermatologists out there don't waste your time with this idiot!

I think he is an excellent physician. My family has used him for years.
