wonderful Doctor, Took care of my 93 year old mother within one day of contacting his office.. I will be forever thankful for his skills and his referral to a wonderful plastic surgeon on the same day ! a wonderful experience, thank you !

Do not use Dr Heskel, find another Dr. Dr Heskel spent under 5 minutes with me . I thought I was seeing a dermatologist but he barely look at my skin. He mostly stayed across the room , asked a few questions. He called in a prescription for a chemo cream which I used and when I went for my second visit he didn’t even approach me but stood across the room. Dr Heskel became agitated when I questioned wether or not a cortisone cream was necessary and told me no one was holding a gun to me to use it. Very rude , uncaring , didn’t show any empathy . I would estimate he spent less than 10 minutes with me both visits combined. I paid co pays for each visit plus whatever my insurance covered. I’d say he has a good racket going on there.

Very rushed and doesn’t listen to concerns.

My second visit with this Dr. First time, the annual exam felt rushed & wasn’t very thorough. Hoped it was just an off day. Came back for another skin exam, this time with concerns. They did not even ask me to remove any clothing. How do you look over someone’s body with their clothes on? Dr comes in & asks what I’m here for. Told him same as I told nurse-here for my annual exam. I removed clothing with them standing there & said there were a few spots I was concerned about. He very quickly looked me over & said everything looked great. He didn’t ask where the areas were. I again asked about the spots/ moles I was concerned with & pointed them out. Felt as though I had to beg him to spend any amount of time. He was in such a hurry to be done. The office was supposed to give me a referral for another matter. Never heard back from them. Now I need to find another doctor & go for an actual thorough skin exam. This guy needs to retire.

I am a patient of Dr. Heskel. He has a great bedside manner, with a great sense of humor. He is also very knowledgeable about his profession. I would highly recommend him for any skin problem. Diane Margolis

I have been his patient over 20 years. I have a personal and family history of skin cancers. I see him twice a year and more if I feel something needs checked sooner. I have always been most pleased with Dr. Heskel, his medical assistants and the front office staff.

He is friendly, knows how to talk to a patient, and has successfully treated me on two separate occasions.

charged me for a procedure he said was not covered by my insurance and charged my insurance and my responsibility was supposed to be zero and he charged me 75.00 so he got paid twice .

He was nice but his diagnosis was a joke. I should've done more research. It was a big waste of money and time.
