Dr. Neil Rodman Johnson, MD

When I called to schedule an appointment I learned my previous doctor had retired. So happy for him but not happy for me as I do not like changing doctors! However, I am so happy with Dr. Johnson and I know when it comes time for my knee surgery in the Fall I will be in good hands!

Dr Johnson did two total knee replacements for me within the past year. He did a great job on both knees without any problems. He seems to be very caring and a great bedside manner.

I have had to wait to have my knees replaced for 5 years, because of my insurance, and age. Doctor Johnson was always there when I needed him. Both knees were replaced this year and everything went great. Doctor Johnson and his staff made sure everything I need I got. I have recommended him to 5 people and they all have nothing but good thing to say about him, and the Staff. They listen and pay attention to your needs.

I had to literally order him to do a shoulder surgery for me, which he did, but didnt explain what happened afterwards, acts annoyed/surprised when i show up saying I have a lot of pain. refuses to give pain medication or explain what is causing my pain, spends 2 mins or less with me and keeps telling my to go physical therapy, which is terrible and does nothing, the therapists dont know what is causing the pain either. I was in tears in front of him because of pain, he just sat there and abruptly left, without helping me manage my pain. doesnt seem very compassionate

Very good and made me feel so comfortable--laid back-- and nice. I need that.. excellent job and good follow up.

I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for several injuries and have been very satisfied. Surgeries were successful and the aftercare was great.

After missing 2 appointments due to other health issues, Dr Johnson glanced at the file and stated, the broken heel looked as good as could be expected at 4 weeks. The cast needed to remain on. I corrected him, it had been 8 weeks. He instructed to do weight bearing on it for a week, if no pain the cast could come off. Did he look at the chart, did he look at the X ray??!!
