Dr. Neil David Manus, MD

Pay attention to these reviews. DO not trust your health to this doctor. He is dismissive and does not provide compassionate care. I was sent home with obvious signs of something that somethin was not right. I could not tolerate solids or liquids. I went in with kidney stone issues he wanted to discuss liver although there was no pain no issues it was the kidney. I was still discharged and health kept deteriorating only to end up at the hospital with an infection and surgery was required. I could have ended up with sepsis had my husband not intervene and rush me to the hospital.

My son saw Dr. Manus in the emergency room after a fall at school. He saw my son for less than 5 minutes, asked him to jump up and down to gauge pain, and that's it. No X-rays, he said he was fine. My son then saw his pediatrician after complaints of continued pain, and he found a compound fracture. After this incorrect diagnosis and an amazingly short amount of time with him, I received a bill for $680 from Dr. Manus' office, IN ADDITION to the sky-high emergency room charges. Wow.....I mean, just Wow.

My husband went to Willowbrook Methodist ER and saw Dr. Manus, after several test and all inconclusive, my husband still in a great deal of abdominal pain, Dr. Manus told him to take tylenol and if he got worse to come back to the er or go see his primary dr the following week. This was on a Fri night after waiting for over 3 hrs. He was in pain all weekend and saw his dr. the following week. We will never go to Willowbrook Methodist ER ever again.
