Dr. Neil Craig Mitnick, DO

He has been our family doctor since 1987 when he first came to the Albany Family Practice. With no doubt, he is one of the most caring, gentle and talented physicians I have ever had in my 71 years. he does not rush you. He takes the time to carefully listen with sincere concern and always follows up, making sure you are doing well. He is one of a kind.

I saw him for the first time today and was so impressed. I have a lot going on and it was probably overwhelming to hear all of it at one visit.. but it wrote everything down and tried to piece it all together. He was able to offer me some great advice and genuinely seemed to care about my health concerns - which unfortunately has been hard to find in my case. I'm really happy to have Dr. Mitnick on my team!!

Dr. Mitnick is a wonderful physician, always putting you at ease and ready to listen. He is not a know-it-all and yet he knows a whole lot. He doesn't make decisions FOR you but rather WITH YOU - and he doesn't have a God complex. I consider myself lucky to have such a kind, patient, intelligent primary physician.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mitnick's since the mid to late 80's. He is without a doubt one of the most caring, thorough and empathetic physicians a patient could ask for. I cannot say enough about him, both as a person and as a physician. He cares, he listens, and he always has his patient's best interests in mind. He spends whatever time is necessary to discuss my concerns, and help me with whatever I need. Best * Doctor * Ever!!

have been seening this dr. for 26 years and his expertise and caring, willingness to think out of the box, but take a conservative positive approach are beyond any doctor I have worked with.
