Dr. Neil Suresh Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is very prompt and time-efficient. You do not have to go through many rounds of nurses asking you the same questions, he sees you directly. Very easy to talk to and polite!

He is a great doctor. He's friendly with his patients.

He's unfriendly very obnoxious repulsive think he's better than anyone. I treats my mother on the office in the Bx and operated her also and she don't want him at all ever again and I agree with her.I wouldn't recommend him to no one he's a total SOB!

Dr Neil Patel is the best there is in treating this eye problem, he not only is very professional he is gentle and caring.... I went to Tri State Eye in Middletown following Dr Patels leaving the area and I have never felt real comfortable with the treatment I was given. The Dr treated me poorly on my last visit when I ask him to please be sure the air bubbles were out of the needle, since I have had problems with my eye since the last injection and now have what he calls a floater. I only know it effects my vision and is worrisome to me.

I have only one good eye and I was turned down by several retina surgeons because they were afraid to damage it. Dr Patel reiterated their concerns and risks associated with surgery. I decided that I couldn't live with my level of vision so I decided to let him operate on me. When I got to the hospital, I was eased because all the nurses told me he's the best surgeon they have seen. After the recovery, my vision was amazing, and I have him to thank for that. On a personal note, he's very witty, charming, and funny, always makes you feel at ease. I would choose him over anyone in the world.

My friend has suffered from diabetes for several several years and three years ago was diagnosed with MSD which is a form of leukemia. This past spring he was experiencing issues with his vision, thought to be a side effect of his diabetes. He was referred to Dr. Patel on an emergency basis as he was bleeding behind the retina. Dr. Patel did a thorough evaluation and was aggressive with his treatment. He was direct and conveyed extreme confidence which allow my friend to have hope for a full recovery. It is refreshing to still have doctors that are so passionate about their field and who are truly in it because they simply want to help people.

He is truly a great doctor. Spent plenty of time with me, asked me relevant questions, and also kindly answered all of my many questions. I never felt rushed. He seemed to genuinely care, was kind, friendly, and provided exactly the type of care I would hope for. A great sense of humor too, which was refreshing from a doctor.
