Dr. Neil A Stein, MD

My brother who I am a legal guardian for ended up in Mercy hospital in Coon Rapids MN with urine retention. This doctor told our family he went in and scoped my brother's prostrate and found it just fine. He also stated that my brother had an ATONIC bladder it just did not work, seen it many times. I subsequently took my brother to another doctor at Abbott hospital in Minneapolis who found my brother had an enlarged prostrate (they removed 16 grams) and found Prostrate cancer. He (Stein) is doing business as usual and didn't even bat an eye when he lied right to our faces. He also stated after the scope procedure that he well ah wasn't sure why but the camera didn't work in the equipment at Mercy hospital so we had no pictures. When Abbott looked at my brother and showed us the pictures with equipment they had that worked it was more then obvious he had an enlarged prostrate!!! And what happens to this guy (Stein) NOTHING!!!! He works out of Metro urology so patient beware! Mercy… hospital only wanted my handicapped brother out of their hospital and didn't care how it took place!! Lie about the whole deal did it and the follow up with this guy (Stein) kept the lie going until I went to a real doctor. Try taking this up with anyone in the medical arena and they watch each others backs and slow walk you as long as it takes for you to go away.... I would never ever recommend this guy to any one for anything. The questions in this survey are softball questions staff ratings are one thing what this doctor did is a whole different story that got swept away by the medical profession at Mercy hospital. My brother had surgery at Abbott and he know can urinate just fine (his ATONIC bladder works fine) we are monitoring his PSA levels and are concerned with his cancer unlike Dr, Niel Stein who lied through his teeth about my brothers condition. I sent reports to state and medical departments and was told I would never know the results but they assured me it would be addressed? He is still out there as far as I know and from my perspective it was just dusted off by all involved at Mercy hospital. he should have served time for the lies...
