Dr. Zemmel is a world class plastic surgeon and we are so lucky to have him here in Richmond, VA. He is a compassionate physician with the eye and skills of an artist. His staff and office are top shelf. Everyone makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone considering plastic surgery. You are in good hands! 5 star physician!

Zemmel struck my femoral artery, caused DVT, ischemia and other disorders. He removed my breast tissue along with my structural muscle consistent with mastectomy and revised his operating notes to cover up his errors. All the while he was gaslighting me at each appointment. Zemmel has yet to fess up and have the decency to tell me the truth about what abdominal tissue and muscle he removed due to necrosis nor organ repairs and the truth about my projected 3.5 hr surgery that lasted 6 hr 20 mins. He stated no complications and my body differs.

Dr. Zemmel and his staff are kind, attentive, and informative. The care they provided was beyond my expectations and I am very happy to have been able to meet everyone here! :)

After wanting a breast augmentation for more than a decade, shortly following my 30th birthday, I finally decided to take the plunge. I had heard nothing but rave reviews about Dr. Zemmel and he exceeded even all expectations. There were other plastic surgeons closer to home, but I knew I wanted the best, and was more than willing to drive the hour to procure such. Due to COVID, my scheduled consultation was transitioned to a virtual consult. I sent in images via their secure system and then met with Dr. Zemmel and his PA via FaceTime. They were very thorough in answering all of my questions and I knew that I wanted to proceed with an in person consult to try on implants as soon as the office reopened and we officially got the ball rolling. I am now 4 weeks post-op from my bilateral breast augmentation with silicone Sientra moderate plus profile implants and could not be happier. My only regret is not taking the plunge sooner!
