Genuinely the most disgusting and abhorrent bedside manner and treatment I’ve ever received in my life! Don’t know if he gets off on treating people in pain like trash and belittling his own patients but my god. I just hope this review will save someone the suffering of having to deal with this psychopath of a doctor!

My head injury was partially stapled by UTMB in error, so refused to finish the job. Was told by nurse to see plastic surgeon 2 reopen & re-suture injury. No cleaning by anyone at MCH. The Neill Slater MD at MCH ER didn't bother to see me either, but billed me $518 for doctor services.

Oh My Gosh! This Jerk is a doctor! You feel angry at the School of Medicine Chicago who admitted him! He must have been a total sociopath to keep all his psychopathy away from the admissions board. This one is a total bully, jerk, and control freak. Zero bed side manner, brutal , total lack of empathy, wrong diagnosis. Just wants to flirt with the cuties all the time and act superior. Never in my life I would have met a disgusting doctor like this. To the christian management at Odessa , we know its hard to get doctors in this town, but give us some mercy, and give us someone with at least a tiny bit of heart in him, not a board certified sociopath.

I was taken by ambulance to MCH ER. The hospital system seems to be in my insurance "network". However, I am given services from a doctor that is out of my Cigna Insurance network and am being billed. Had he been in my network, Cigna would have been paying, because I have almost all of my out of pocket expenses paid. This is not good.

Worst doctor ever just making money doesn't care that his actual job title is to help people!!! He should be fired or contract the Ebola virus and a doctor tell him there's nothing they can do for him!!

i visited medical center health after i got a concussion from whiplash getting rear ended.. the er was not busy and they rushed me in immediately nurses and staff where very much helpful and attending to my needs, until i got to see the doctor a "know it all". dr. neill slater was the rudest doctor ive ever met!!!! i explained that i was a passenger in a rear end accident completely stopped at a yield from 305 turning on 308.. when the driver of the vehicle stated he did not even see us and was trying to beat the car going the speed limit of 75 mph and he ran into us... it did not do any real visable damage to our dodge 3500 with a heavy duty bumper on the back but slid a welding machine tool box etc on a metal plate through the tail gate... and later we noticed it bent the frame... when i explained to him the incident he proceeded to tell me it was most likely a "moderate" accident that he sees accidents like this all the time and BOTH vehicles would be undrivable and you would have… to have a head abrasion to have a concussion. after doing what his version of a concussion test was open mouth eyes look right look left and checked my pupils which later i checked and werent dialating right.. he said there is no possible way i would have a concussion that without a head abrasion or that the vehicle was driveable that there was no way i had a concussion that he is the doctor and went to years of school and i came to him for answers if i want another opinion go somewhere else.. mind you that when the accident happened i blacked out for a good five minutes and i wanted to throw up i was confused and had tunnel vision alot and when i mentioned i had trouble seeing he said , "no you can see" i also didnt even realize that i was not at the same hospital i tried to go to the night before... with all the evidence that i clearly had a concussion he argued with me and making me ten times more confused and i cried because my head hurt so bad and that this doctor would not listen to me... in fact he said theres nothing i can give you for a concussion like i wanted pain meds or something??....i simply wanted him to check my head because i couldnt think and had had a head injury before had 170 stitches in my forehead.. but again his arguement was that because theres no possible way i had a concussion he did not want to give me a ct of my head and cause cancer at age 40... so he ordered a x ray of my neck and i repeatedly told him i did not want that.. well when he just walked out i had an anxiety attack.. i take meds for anxiety but i was having an attack so i pressed the button EIGHT times and they kept shutting it off!! i even tried to walk out in the hall but could not remember how i got there... a nurse finally showed up after quite a long time and said i was getting a ct so i thought i was gettting what i wanted but then they took me up and did a cat scan of my neck... when i was back in the room the doctor came in and said i checked the XRAY and everything is all clear no breaks jams nothing and i said i got a cat scan and he again argued with me, but by that time my sisters ex had showed up to the doctor because i was having to argue my point to this doctor and told the doctor no i think she got a cat scan so he went to "check" and came back and finally apologized because i in fact got a cat scan not an xray.. what happened i do not know but i didnt even get tylenol or anything he said i wouldnt get charged for that ct but infact i did, all that for what maybe he thought i was faking it for some pills i dont know but i know that i would never want anyone else to go through what i did when i had a concussion... i also later after working on the pipeline for a week had trouble with blacking out breathing and hearing. i went to a chiropractor that x rayed my neck and it was jammed so bad my breathing and hearing where cut off.. yes that can happen... so that doctor neglected treating me and made me suffer a whole week at work.. he handed me a packet on my "concussion" and said i could read that when i could not focus on reading.... also how do you claim to be a know it all doctor when you said i looked at an xray when it was a ct!!!

He is a total jerk! Too busy trying to get the attention of young girls. Falls behind and then gets angry when questioned about treating the patients in a timely manner. I wouldn't want this horse's pettuti to treat me or my family.
