Meet Dr. Diaz
Nelson J. Diaz D.M.D.
Dr. Nelson Diaz is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists.
He received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology from Florida International University. He earned his Doctor in Dental Medicine Degree from Tufts University, and his Certificate in Orthodontics from Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Diaz also completed a General Practice Residency and a Fellowship in Implant Dentistry from the University of Miami Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Diaz is an active member of numerous professional organizations including The American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Florida Dental Association, and the Florida Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Diaz has received several honors and academic achievements such as the Tufts University Dental Alumni Association Award for Clinical Excellence in Public Health Dentistry, Tufts University Merit Scholarship, Colgate Scholarship, and the Massachusetts Hispanic …Dental Association Recognition of Invaluable Contributions among others.
Dr. Diaz has been actively involved in Dental Outreach and Screening Programs in Central Florida. In his free time, Dr. Diaz enjoys running, tennis, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Diaz is committed to provide the highest standard of orthodontic care, ethical and moral values as well as outstanding customer service. Because of his dedication to excellence, He stays current on topics in Orthodontics, technology, and he is also an active member of the continuing education community.
