Dr. Nelson S Joo

Dr. Joo has been in the practice of family dentistry since 1986- all in the Aurora area. His practice provides a comprehensive dental care ranging from geriatric to pediatric dental care, from surgical care to cosmetic care along with implant dentistry. He attends continuing education classes frequently to stay updated on changes and advance in the dental field to provide better care for his patients. He also belongs to a study club focusing on implant dentistry.
He volunteers regularly as a clinician at the Inner City Health Center, a charity clinic in the Five Point Area of Denver providing dental care for the underprivileged population from the Denver Metro Area. He is also a clinical instructor there working closely with dental interns from the School of Dentistry of CU. He has been a regular volunteer for the 9 Health Fair since the 1990's.
He received his B.S. degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh and went on to receive a dental degree from the Oral …Roberts University, Tulsa, OK. He received an award from the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
He's been married for 22 years to Susanna who is working for the Cherry Creek School District. They have a daughter and a son. Both are attending the University of Colorado. He enjoys watching a variety of sports, though his favorite one is ice hockey. He is an occasional skier and golfer.
He feels he is very blessed with a great team at his office who enjoy and love what they do with great pride. He considers them as an extended family members of his own.
