Dr. Nelson Preschel, MD

Look for another place if you can. I called this afternoon to make an appointment. The receptionist was unable to make an appointment for me. There is a system glitch with BCBS I've been dealing with for the past 4 years. I always inform the receptionist of this information for any location when making an appointment. Her response is, "I don't know, but we only have 3 people, and no one has the time to call and verify." I offered to do it with her on the phone, but that was an unacceptable option. I offered to make do it on the day of the appointment, but that was also unacceptable. I actually like him as a doctor, but I'm going to look elsewhere.

Very talented being rude to patients , I will bet something 60% of his 5 stars reviews are from his Venezuelan s friends ....ohhh yes yes definitely talented bullying and harassing and making fun of people he doesn't even know and just met him...he probably has no clue what he said to me when I met him ...read my review on his web site ...where only 35 people has review him !!! Probably like I said , his buddies .....a doctor this " good ,great blah blah blah " with 35 reviews??? What does that tell u? People go there and never go back !!! Why? This so called specialist should be working at Costco. He offered me NO solution to my problem of a good size Chalazion of my eye lid. NO information or medication. He doesnt give a bleep.

Dr Preschel is a talented ophtalmologist and a caring human being. His gentle and skilled manners are very reassuring for the patient. The members of his staff are skilled and kind professionals. The office environment is clean and organized. Let me mention the arts tastefully displayed that add to a comfortable but short wait. Also patients are seen promptly around their appointment time. I blessed the day I found him.

Dr Preschel & his office staff are First Class! Thanks to Dr Preschel I can see clearly after cataract & lense replacement surgery on both eyes. The care & attention was wonderful & in 6 months my vision is perfect again! My husband was so impressed by their state of the art equipment & service he too had minor surgery which removed scar tissue from his eye which was obstructing his vision. He too is now seeing 20/20! Dr Preschel knows what he is doing & offers the fastest & easiest methods to get you feeling confident & in control of your life! Your vision is worth visiting their office for a consultation!

I cannot recommend this doctor at all. Dr. Preschel performed a cataract surgery on my father 10 months ago and we’re still waiting for a miracle to happen so my father can gain his vision back. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. Dear prospective patients, make your own conclusions!

I am so grateful to Dr. Nelson Preschel, M.D. I have been his patient for 10 years and he has taken excellent care of my eyes. He has treated me with respect, addressing all my questions, helping me weigh my medical options and does so with so much patience. His treatment plan has always been carefully considered and has brought me much relief. I am so thankful to have found such a caring and good doctor. I recommend him highly.

Poor time management. Will have you waiting over an hour.

This doctor took the time to really listen to my symptoms prior to looking at me. Dr. Preschel gave an accurate diagnosis and I began immediate treatment for a painful condition. His bedside manner was kind and caring and not rushed. my wait time in the office prior to being seen was about 15 mins. Excellent.
