Dr. Nema Cabangal Oriel-Comenencia, MD

After 12 years of being a patient, I decided to look for another provider because of the disorganization, lack of professionalism and integrity of the employees of the front desk. To be exact, the older Hispanic, black-haired woman. Ever since she was hired the clinic went really down the hill. She mutes the phones, the calls go to voicemail, never get returned, she's overly opinionated about the patient's condition/situation ad gives medical advice behind the doctor's back. Oh and she also mixed up the lab results of my husband and mine. How do I know about the phones being muted? Because I had to drive in to make an appointment (yeah in 2019). When I asked what was wrong with the phone lines she said they weren't working right, except I could see the blinking lights on the phones which indicate a call is coming in. Maybe this is the first time she works in an office or has a multi-line desk phone and thought I was going to believe her lies. I went outside dialed the number and walk… back in with the phone on speaker while it ran just fine and confronted her about it. Doctor Nema Comenencia was at the front desk when I walked back in. After I filled her in what was going on, her response was to call her cell phone instead of the office from now on. EXCUSE ME?? So she supports a lack of integrity towards the patients from her staff? NO THANK YOU. This was never a free public service. Her kindness does not suffice for the atrocious wait times. The constant multitasking while the patient is being seen (answering the personal cellphone, opening door to be consulted, signing things, stepping out, etc) and the lack of authority over her own staff. I hope she reads this and does something constructive instead of handing out her cell phone. I'm not the only one who feels this way. When I went to get a copy of my records, I spoke about the events and why I was leaving with the only decent front desk person there, said there are a lot of patients stating the same.

I wish I could rate this office as great, But I would be lieing to everyone. The staff is beyond rude,they have habbit of not taking you're copayment till one+hour after you're apointment was set up,as well close their sliding glass doors on you when they are done not you. I had to wait over one hour and thirty minuets just to see the doctor, and to be honest that was the shortest iv'e had to wait. Dr.Comenencia has a habit of nodding alot and saying, Uh-huh,uh-huh and to be honest, I don't feel there is a good paitent to dr. trust center there. If you are the type of person who doesn't mind waiting way beyond you're expected wait time and or enjoys having many,many people being taken infront of you while you can do nothing about it. Then this Drs. Office is just for you. This review is not out of spite in any means. But this is just sad and pathedic.
