Dr. Nera Sakowitz, MD

absolute horrific and crazy individual. I honestly think she needs to see a psychiatrist for an undiagnosed personality disorder. She didn't listen, she was condescending, and at one point I felt like I was talking to my ex-wife who is doing 30 years for identity theft. If I could give negative stars I would. I hope she loses her license because she should not be seeing patients.

Horrible!!!! The Doctor hung up on me twice. Never got an answer to what was wrong with me. Was obvious she was doing test because I have good insurance. I feel bad for her staff, they seemed to care. The Doctor left for the day without reading the chest x rays I brought with me. Her office called to say their was something urgent we needed to talk about. The phone call was a week after they had the test results. I brought the test results to another specialist, was told I'm fine. She had me spend $200 on xrays meds and equipment I didn't need.

Horrible, we have been coming to this office for over 25years, when dr. Mervin was there much better, since beta took over omg! Rude, treats her workers like crap, I didn’t think I would get the same treatment but I did, she do not want you seeing other doctors, just inappropriate, it was ok for a while but out of hand now, always new people working there, nobody can deal with her, such a shame

TESTS TESTS AND MORE TESTS!! (HOPE MEDICARE PAYS FOR ALL OF THEM) WENT ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS AND SAW THIS DOCTOR, WHAT A HUGH MISTAKE. MY PROBLEM WAS INCORRECTLY DIAGNOSED . WHEN I TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES TO HAVE MY RECORDS SENT TO ANOTHER PHYSICIAN ALWAYS AN EXCUSE. DOCTOR SAKOWITZ WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE MOST OF THE TIME HUNG UP ON ME SEVERAL TIMES. MY PHYSICIANS OFFICE WHICH TRIED ON MANY OCCASIONS WAS ALSO UNSUCCESSFUL IN OBTAINING ANY RECORDS OR ANY REPORTS FROM DR SAKOWITZ'S OFFICE. DEFINITELY TIME FOR THIS "DOCTOR" TO RETIRE. IF THERE WAS A RATING UNDER 1 STAR I WOULD LEAVE IT.

They need to remove this individual from practice. She is obnoxious and unprofessional with her staff and patients!

She's rude, talks over you at times. She barked at me "who are you" when I asked a question about my 80 yr old mom. She can't keep the same staff. People can't take her nasty ways. The place is outdated, cluttered, a step back into time.EKG machine doesn't work properly. I didn't like the way she treated the staff or me. She has an attitude. I wish I could stop my mother from going there but she likes the husband Dr M. Sakowitz and is just use to the place. The reviews that said the place was bad was right.

I have seen Dr. Sakowitz consistently for the last 20+ years. She has been instrumental in my own care, as well as the care of my sister and parents. She is an "old school" doctor who spends time with her patients and actually gets to know them, finds answers to complicated problems, and educates her patients so that they can be in charge of their own health. If you want to see a doctor who doesn't know who you are for a 5 minute visit where they spend all their time staring at a computer screen, this is not the place for you. Do not be fooled by the other reviews, most of Dr. Sakowitz's patients do not use "Vitals.com". Let her 40 year track record and thousands of patients in good health for decades speak for itself.

Dr. Nera Sakowitz is a very caring doctor. She is very knowledgeable, however explains complex information in a way that is easy for patients to understand. She fully listens and has great patience. She is totally devoted to her patients.

Crazy individual, not a doctor at all! Run down office, exam room old and torn. The wait was over3 hours and I left with no real answer! WASTE OF TIME! This place is a joke
