When I tried to set up an appointment at this office for my annual physical exam, I was told by the representative at their office that I would need to see the doctor at least once before making an appointment for my annual exam. So I did that and paid $175 for the first visit. On this visit they scheduled my annual physical exam and provided me with my annual blood work, x-ray, and bone density test at this appointment as well. They wanted me to get all of this done before we met for the annual exam that way we can discuss the results at the same time. On the second visit I got to Dr. Nestor Nazareno office at 8:30AM for my 9:00AM. There were another 7-8 patients all waiting to see Dr Nazareno. About 2-3 hours go by and I was still in the office waiting to see Dr. Nazareno. I asked the front desk what was going on and that is when I discovered that he was not even in the office! They said he was called to the hospital for an emergency. I understand that things can happen, but why… weren’t the patients notified about this situation when we are waiting for our appointments for 2-3 hours? The least they could have done is to let the patients know so that we can reschedule and make decisions on what to do versus sitting in the office for that long! They rescheduled my annual exam. Now we are on to visit #3. I arrived to their office by 2:45PM for my 3:30PM appointment and once again waited for at least 2 hours before they called me inside. Once inside, I had to wait another hour until I saw the doctor. Finally the doctor showed up into my room with my test results. As he was explaining my results I noticed that he was shuffling between papers and files. I realized that he was looking at multiple patients at one time! Within a few minutes he had to excuse himself and left the room. He clearly did not look at my results before meeting with me. He kept going back and forth to my room at least 4 times trying to collect all of my test results. He had other patients’ files in his hand while meeting with me! My appointment was at 3:30PM and I didn’t leave until 6:30PM. I have never experienced such unprofessional patient-doctor relationship in my entire life! About a month later, I received a bill from his office for $148.75. I called the office and asked why I am being charged this amount when I know my insurance covers my annual physical exam 100%. They told me not to worry about the bill and that the billing department made a mistake which they will handle and correct. After 2 months, I received the same bill once again from their office. I called them again; only this time they don’t even answer their phone calls. I have left several messages but no one wants to speak to me. I then called my insurance company and let them know about everything that I had experienced. I officially filed a complaint against Dr. Nestor Nazareno with my insurance company. This was not a doctor’s office that I visited. It was rather a business entity. Dr. Nestor Nazareno is unprofessional with his patient-doctor relationship, dangerous when he’s looking at multiple patient files in a single appointment, and greedy for making multiple appointments for the same time slot which is more than he or any physician can handle safely. This is something that should never happen and cannot be overlooked. I fear for all of Dr. Nestor Nazareno’s patients’ safety at this office! Something needs to be done! I will not be returning to this office ever again!

He was rude and condescending during my visit. Showed absolutely no empathy and discounted what 3 different specialists had diagnosed me with. Worst Dr I have ever seen in my life!

Waiting time: Waiting time over two hours in most cases

Always have to wait 30min and sometimes up to -1.5 hours

I am a previous patient of Dr. Nazareno. We moved and have now returned to Arizona. My husband and I will both be patients of his again, if he is accepting new patients.

Dr Nazareno is interested, asks questions, reviews situation (lab tests current & prior) uses computer aides. Communicates immediately to office staff on needs so orders & RXs are issued. Uses computer to submit lab orders, very good. Although, codes entered for lab work have repeatedly be wrong though. Katy the office manager likes her job, is energetic, has an interest in doing what she can to meet a patient's needs. She's a strong asset. The Staff would get 3-4 stars but because of Katy I've given 5 stars to the staff

I have been patient for several years. Dr. Nazareno always listens to my concerns and gives me answers that I can understand. His computerized patient record system makes it very easy for us to review previous lab values and other concerns.

Very thorough in his diagnosis. Pleasant personality. Highly recommend.

I found Dr. Nazareno to be knowledgeable, caring and professional. All of our "snowbird" relatives were impressed with him and are now his clients, too.
