After surgery I ended up having reflex sympathetic dystrophy and he just tried passing it off as something normal when physical therapy informed me it was not. Still don’t have the same use of my hand.

It has been 15 moths since my surgery and the pain gets worse. When I asked him (3 month check up) why I still feel the pain, he said:" Of course the pain is still there! You have arthritis." Really?The purpose of the surgery was to get rid of the arthritis, according to him. Instead, the arthritis is still present, plus it got worse. The pain is still present and ever since my whole hand is in pain. My hand looks rather disfigured now.

Dr. Lewis, who was 'nice', performed a few surgeries on my hand where I ended up acquiring major infection and had to go to Infectious Limited to resolve the bacterial infection possibly acquired from the surgery room; when I was sent to Infectious Limited, his office assistant, Susan RN changed quickly towards me as she was no longer nice (I never did anything to cause her to change.) Note: Susan RN, was nice at first until after surgery, she became short, irritable and hostile. I wish I could give her some of my vacation hours for her to take a vacation and be away from patients as it is unprofessional to disrespect patients when they have questions and she just seemed as if she couldn't stand the most reasonable patients. Anyway, After a year, my hand was ok except for sensitivity and numbness.

I sent two of my friends to Dr. Lewis and they were truly thrilled with how well their hand surgery was done.

I have my right thumb surgery to relieve the arthritis about 5 months ago. I am still in pain. Can't even use my right hand to do any normal activities. Plus, my right hand looks disfigured now. I regretted having this surgery.

I had my right thumb surgery (with tendon taken from my wrist) with Dr. Lewis about 3, 5 months ago to relieve the arthritis, but I haven not seen any improvement. I still feel the pain when moving my thumb, plus the feeling of stiffness which was not there prior to surgery.

Wonderful doctor that truly cares about your health concerns. He takes his time with you instead of rushing between patients.

You have to wait to be seen, but it is because he is the best. Dr. Lewis changed my life I have been living in pain for 4 years and he has me on the road to recovery for the first time. I have never been so thoroughly cared for.

My husband had carpal tunnel surgery performed by Dr Lewis. You can't do better. He keeps up with modern medical sciences and approaches patients with common sense. Wish he had been my doctor, but am very thankful he was my husband's doc. A+++
