Dr. Nevine Marie Carp, MD

have been seeing Dr. Carp for a few years now regarding my COPD/emphysema. I find her ultra knowledgeable, honest, encouraging and caring. Stephanie, the NP, is wonderful too. And Jackie and the rest of the staff. I have needed Dr. Carp or her staff to complete time consuming paperwork for me for applications several times and they have taken care of these tasks for me willingly and efficiently. I thank my lucky stars to have found S. Florida Pulmonary.

Dr Carp feels calling a patient back with test reviews she orders is apparently not important. After leaving the hospital after 23 days, we knew my right lung was left compromised to some degree. I asked her to consider a CT scan after a chest X-RAY showed a problem. She said No..Just wait 2 more mos for another chest X-ray. Yes, she called me once in the very beginning to tell me my breathing test showed issues I’m my type lung. I called her office after a mos saying I didn’t feel well and my lung was becoming painful to breath. Foolishly I trusted her and waited the extra month. So now 2 mos later on a Fri she had me finally set up for a CT scan with contrast. My primary called me within an hour after to tell me that I now had pneumonia all thru that right lung. Dr Carp Never called Fri, over that weekend nor Monday or Tuesday. She preferred waiting until my apt Tues late afternoon. Thankfully my internet’s had put me on a strong antibiotic the Fri of the CT scan. So my… suggestion is DO NOT trust her with your lungs or your health. Especially now with COVID so prevalent , Dr Carp is NOT responsible nor caring enough to do the professional thing. Find a different pulmonologist for your own wellbeing.

The staff especially the front desk secretary was very rude has a bad attitude The doctor supports that kind of behavior we will now go back to that office

I have been a patient of Dr. Carp for over 4 years. She is definitely one of the best specialty doctors that I have seen in South Florida. Dr Carp listens patiently and asks the right followup questions, not only about my pulmonary function, but about my entire well-being.

Dr. Carp is professional and knowledgeable. She is friendly and clearly caring, and takes the time to answer my questions willingly. Her office is bright and cheery, and her staff warm and welcoming.

Dr. Carp was covering for my pulmonologist in the hospital. She kept me there an extra day and a half and told me she was too busy. Then because I asked her a question about a blood test she ordered, she refused to do a thoriocentesis and told me I could wait 5 days for my doctor to return. She let me be discharged short of breath with no care. STAY AWAY!!!!

Dr. Carp was not only friendly and showed a true interest in my wellbeing, but was prompt with an accurate diagnosis! Will be making her my pulmonary doctor from now on.

Staff does not care whether you are sick and the doctor does not care about her patients. Do not waste your time in this practice.
