Dr. New Sang, MD, is a proud graduate of Clovis West High School who returned to Fresno after completing his education and medical training at UCLA, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and in Honolulu, Hawaii. Following his training, he spent five years practicing on Kauai, where he gained extensive experience in a high-volume outpatient clinic, attended high-risk deliveries, and provided emergency room coverage while on call. In addition to his work at Sang Pediatrics, Dr. Sang also served part-time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.

Board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Sang has been a dedicated leader in the Fresno medical community. He served two terms as Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Community …Regional Medical Center from 2016 to 2020. He also played a leading role in a major philanthropic contribution to Community Medical Centers, helping fund the renovation of the postpartum unit, now known as the Sang Family Postpartum and Newborn Care Unit at both CRMC and Clovis Community Hospital.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Sang enjoys spending time outdoors, following sports and technology, and making memories with his family. His favorite activities include reading, cooking, walking his three dogs, and traveling with his wife and three daughters to experience new foods and cultures.
