Dr. Todd Newman

Todd Newman is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with 15 years of experience in talk therapy/clinical settings. Todd is interested in assisting adolescents, adults, and couples to work through issues pragmatically and insightfully. Todd specializes in in-depth/insight, adjustment/transitions, mood-based issues, and special populations, i.e. autism/cognitive delay and substance abuse, amongst others. Todd completed his Master of Social Work in 2008 at The University of Akron. He has well-versed and robust clinical experience in many facets of the mental health field as a clinician. His style/theoretical approach is eclectic but strives to use insight/analytical, purposeful/pragmatic, interpersonal, and strategic approaches. He has specialized training in addictions, psychosis, DBT, CBT, and developmental disabilities. Psychology is part of the human condition and everyone will face challenges.
