Dr. Ngoc Thi-Bich Vu, MD

took my baby boy to see dr vu in may 2021. He had really bad eczema on his face and we were struggling to understand why it was happening. Dr vu was 40 mins behind schedule,we were new pt , she took one look at him and decided without listening to me about his history that he needed allergy testing . We only saw her once and knew she was bad and Rushed! She clearly relied only on skin testing and blood work . She said he was allergic to 7 of the top 8 . Within 4 and a half months of her diagnosis he was eating everything except peanut and tree nuts ( which he is getting testing now for ,but mostly likely he’s not even allergic either ). I’ve been told by his new allergist that if a baby comes in with severe eczema , you don’t automatically test them for allergies. You LISTEN to what causes a reaction. We told her nothing he eats causes an allergic reaction. She’s dangerous. We could have listened to her and caused more harm to our boy. she needs to research more on how to treat babies… and kids who present with severe eczema and no specific history of allergic reactions to food! The testing was unnecessary!

Dr is always very rushed , doesn’t listen , doesn’t answer questions, doesn’t want questions , is rude about conditions and other specialities. Uses very disrespectful words and assumes things as fact . walks into the room not knowing the patient , doesn’t acknowledge patient, very dismissive. honestly everything about this dr is not good . she may be good at treating adults ,I don’t know ,but she shouldn’t be treating babies . I’m not criticizing her diagnosis or treatment plan ,I’m criticizing her lack of human empathy ,politeness and behavior. No one wants to see a dr that’s mean. I think I’m done with this review now ,Just avoid if you don’t want to feel judged .

I have been so miserable for 3 months and Dr Vu patiently explained everything to me and her suggestions helped me immensely. Her bedside manner is great. Her assistant was also so kind. Great doctor great office

Dr. Vu was highly recommended by my GI doctor. I've had 2 appointments with her so far and I've been impressed with the care she's given me. She explained my problem (eosinophilic esophagitis) very well and outlined a clear treatment plan for me. She has excellent bed-side manners. Highly recommend!!

I just left my appointment with Dr. Vu. She was very thorough, detail oriented, professional and explained everything very well. She spent lots of time with me. Very satisfied! You will not be disappointed!

Dr. Vu is a very caring doctor, and really takes the time to make sure that I understand everything before I leave her office. She was thorough in explaining my son's labwork. My son has severe food allergies and she's done a great job taking care of him.

I've had life-long eczema. I've gone to many dermatologist that don't seem to care about treating patients with eczema. Dr. Vu was great. She spent a lot of time discussing how to care for my skin, and what medications to use. She explained everythiing really well. My eczema has been looking great!!

I am so happy that I came to Dr. Vu. My daughter has suffered with terrible eczema since age 3 months.We have gone to 2 dermatologists but have seen very little change. My daughter is now 9 months old. Dr. Vu spent time gathering information and only recommended tests that were necessary. She diagnosed my daughter with food allergies and recommended that we remove 2 foods from her diet. She also spent a lot of time discussing skin care. Within 6 weeks, my child's skin improved significantly. My daughter is a different child- she is happy, comfortable and for the first time in her life, she is sleeping through the night. Dr. Vu is not only knowledgeable, she is also very compassionate. Apparently, her son has food allergies and eczema so she really understands how hard it is to care for a child like that. She spent a lot of time with me and gave me all kinds of handout. I highly recommend Dr. Vu.
