If I could guide on training other providers in bedside manner, this is the provider I’d choose to teach them. If I could take it up to the next step and ask that all new/existing providers sit with their patient to understand truly what the diagnoses should be in an effort to be both efficient and effective or to call their family to explain discuss such a care plan, this would be the patient-centric provider I would model that experience after. Under no guise can I state that visiting a hospital at capacity during a COVID complication while elderly and immune compromised is a pleasant experience, but when one provider can outshine the numerous negative medical circumstances and inconsistent overwhelmed staff to ensure you’re treated and cared for like a family member, there feels like a light back to health. I don’t hesitate for a moment to provide my highest recommendation to this provider. She is passionate about healthcare, it is not simply a job or an act she performs, it is… her life’s work. When you’ve met countless physicians during an extended inpatient stay, you know who is there for what reason. She is truly a humble servant of her profession and selfless in her acts to put her patient FIRST!

Dr Kwankwo took care of my dad at WCH as one of the hospitalists. She is by all means, one of a kind! Sr Kwankwo is very knowledgeable, intelligent, passionate about her profession and her patients, and very caring; a quality rarely found nowadays in the medical profession. She made a difference in the treatment of my dad. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have a clinic, when I asked her if she sees patients as a PCP. I’m still looking for a good PCP for my dad who could address his medical issues.
