Dr. Nguyen Ngtam, MD

If I could give a negative star review, I would. He is literally the worst doctor I’ve ever had the displeasure of speaking with. Extremely condescending and dismissive. I came in to establish care and ended up leaving before the visit was completed due to his horrible disposition. Please do not waste your time with this doctor

Treats symptoms, but not the disease. No bedside manner. Does not want to hear about your pains only causes your blood pressure to go up because he is more interested in getting you mental help because he doesn't want to find out the cause or he is just not qualified. I am not sure which. A new Doctor for me is needed now and I will only go back for refills for BP and sugar for now? If I could give him a zero, I would.

It was obvious that Dr. Ngtam was aggravated with me because I had not been back to see him for a follow up appointment. This was the first time I had seen him since my appointment with him after a serious auto accident. He barely said hello and didn't ask me how I was doing since my accident which I found to be inappropriate. It is most important to me to have a good rapport with someone and I don't have that with Dr. Ngtam and will never go back to see him again. Before he left the room he said you will find out the results from your lab work when you return for a followup visit in a month. I am a 65 year old women dealing with hardships and as a result some anxiety issues. He told me that I would go the a psychiatrists if necessary and that my blood pressure was so high I could have a stroke. The nurse began asking me about the hardships before she took my vitals and I was feeling very anxious as a result which elevated by pressure to 171/95 and 5 minutes later it dropped to 151/90… and it would have been lower if I wasn't so aggravated by the whole ordeal.

He has a bad attitude and very snappy

Spent time talking to me and explaining disease process and made sure I have what I needed.

I normally don't even like doctors but this guy was great!

The doctor spend time explaining to me about my disease process. He went over his time to make sure I have all the resources available and all my question answered.
