I chose family medicine as a focus of my medical career because I enjoy it and I feel it is a way to give back to the community and help people. I have a particular interest in geriatrics and for taking care of patients with chronic conditions such as hypertension, arthritis and diabetes. I also enjoy caring for pediatric patients and the adult population. I want my patients to feel they are getting what they need when they see me. You can look up information on medical conditions on the internet but when you see a doctor it should be going so much deeper. I want that for my patients. I want them to know that no matter the concern -- big or small -- it will be addressed. When they come to see me, they will be the center of my attention and they will receive the best care I can provide.
