Dr. Nguyet Anh Le-Lindqwister, MD

This Dr. my mother's hemotologist in 2009 for hemalytic anemia. She prescribed an anti-fungal medication (for thrush in pt. mouth) that interacted so badly with the coumadin patient was on that patient had to be hospitalized . Patient had to be given vitamin K shots to prevent bleeding out. Coumadin was the first medication listed in the patient medications. Scary to think a blood dr. would not know the fungal medication should not be prescribed for a patient on coumadin. Dr. was friendly as was staff. If prescribed medication by this doctor, self advocate & check for interactions before you take it.

I have seen Dr. about 2 different treatments. She is the best ,always up beat and positive. Great knowledge and right on top of what is new. Explains all the options and plans.
