Dr. Nicholas Stephen Amoroso, MD

During stent placement after a heart attack , Dr. Amoroso left the room before the procedure was over and the 'fellow' -who had been there 3 weeks- was left to close the site alone . I was awake & conscience -and I saw that happen . He apparently was on his way to tell my husband that I was doing great . NO I wasn't . The trainee closing by himself didn't go well and I lost so much blood that my hemoglobin dropped from 15 to 8 and I had many other complications as a result ...and sill do . I was an inpatient there at MUSC for 4 days and he nor or his 'fellow' trainee ever came back to see me/check on my / answer any of my questions despite my asking for him many times . I complained to the proper people at MUSC over 6 months ago and they have still not replied to me other than to say they got the complaint .
