Dr. Nicholas Angelopoulos, DO

I have a number of medical issues and it was difficult to find a Doctor who understood me. I always felt rushed out the door. Dr. A was recommended by my Orthopedic surgeon. I couldn't be happier with the quality of care and treatment I am receiving. When he says, "I get it", I truly believe he does. Although I don't have all the answers yet, I feel that I am definitely on the right path to a future free from daily pain. Unless you experience it, you really can't understand how frustrating and depressing it can be when you no longer enjoy life. Dr. A and his staff are very caring and thorough. I hope to continue this relationship for a long time. It's not that I don't want to get better, I want to be the best I can be. Thank you Dr. A and the staff working with you.

I have undergone numerous procedures under Dr. Nick's care and have found him to be expert at what he does, and also caring and considerate of the patient's wait time and comfort during procedures.

I know doctors and their staff sometimes get bogged down with patients or things get missed. I called Dr. Angelopoulos for a consult and the receptionist took all sorts of info from me and in the middle of it just said, "I am going to have to call you back..." then hung up abruptly. A few hours later, I called her back and told her she did that and I was still waiting for a call back and she said, "I know, I did that, I do my return calls at end of day and will call you at end of day" She never did. Lousy way to do business if you ask me. Clearly, the doctor is losing patients with staff like this.

Dr. Angelopoulos takes the time to talk with you about your history so that he can better access and treat your issue. He is very kind and patient and will answer all of your questions. He is also laid back and very straight forward. Highly recommended for pain management.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nick's for over 3 years. I had a previously poor experience with a different Pain Management doctor and I was ready to give up and live with my unmanageable pain, until I was fortunate enough to be referred to Dr. Nick by professionals in his field. His knowledge and skill is phenomenal - he successfully assessed and administered treatments to block my pain, which my previous doctor was unable to achieve. He spends a great deal of time with his patients and thoroughly listens and cares. I recommend him with the highest regards - I wish more doctors were like him!

I saw Dr. Angelopoulos for sever back pain about 2 months ago and am still pain free. He spent time with me explaining the procedure and made sure I was comfortable with the process. His staff was great and the overall experience was positive. I would recommend him to freinds and family.

I had a herniation in my back and was having trouble walking. A friend referred me to Dr. Angelopoulos and I only wish I had gone in sooner. He reviewed my MRI and talked to me about the problem. He did an injection into the herniated area and talked to me the entire time explaining what was happening and what I should feel. The injection worked great and I am now pain free.

This doctor is not only a fantastic doctor, but a good moral, honest man as well. He is a down-to-earth kind of guy who knows his job well. He really listens to my complaints and problems. He does his best to help me and refers me to other good doctors for additional problem solving on my pain issues. He really cares about his patients. This is a valuable and unique characteristic. I am grateful that he is my doctor.

I saw Dr Nick at the recommendation of my family doctor for gradually worse back pain going into my leg. I feel that he and his staff were thorough in getting my history and mri results and helped eliminate a lot of my worries about treatment. I ended up getting a set of steroid injections which has greatly relieved the pain I was having. I'm back to walking and working fairly normally again. Overall this was a much better experience than I was expecting and am happy with the results to this point.

Dr Nick is an extremely caring and professional doctor. He explains everything in a manner that we can easily understand and encourages questions. We feel very comfortable discussing any of our concerns. He never rushes us and allows enough time with our visit. He's very articulate and meticulous. We, in the South Suburban area are indeed fortunate to have Dr Nick and his staff available to meet our critical needs.
