Dr. Nicholas Charles Demetry, MD

The therapy received in a doctor/patient relationship consisted of astrology, numerology, psychic impressions, energy work, and frequent references Louse Hay’s “You Can Heal Your Life” for actual medical concerns. No therapy plan was put into place. He encouraged me, as a patient, to attend his courses which were intended to teach the students how to become (non-licensed) therapists (therapy principles included inner child and enneagram, etc.). I believe he is currently only offering these courses in Europe. These courses also provided a type of social interaction with the doctor which blurred the lines of the doctor/patient relationship. Please read his public Board Actions online; his followers (advanced students) very persistently tried to take care of this with me. He and his spiritual teachings are followed devoutly by these advanced students, like a guru. He is a kind and caring person and I think he believes in what he is doing. If you are looking for someone focused more… heavily on medical science, he may not be a good match for you.
