Dr. Nicholas Orion Gatz, MD

He coded my visit as a non-routine, non-preventative visit, which caused my insurance not to cover it... When it, in fact was routine and preventative... I called his billing department and my insurance who were both not able to change it so now I am on the hook for the costs. Could he not have had the forethought to code this correctly so I wouldn't be on the hook for these costs? All he did was visually inspect something and tell me the over the counter solution...

When my doctor announced retirement I started researching and reviewing doctors. I am very happy with my choice. Not only is Dr Gatz a good doctor, his nurse and all of the team are very caring.

I have had poor luck getting them to respond to pharmacy requests for prescription refills. Very disconcerting. Dr. Gatz has been my doctor for 6 months, and this is the 3rd issue I have had. His assistant will not call me back. Either their staff doesn't care, or they are too busy to care. Either way expect to be very disappointed. Maybe some people can live with poor service, I can't. The sad things is, Dr. Gatz seems to be an amazing doctor. But everyone as they get older, takes meds. Hope you have better luck than I did. Latest issue, pharmacy put in request for prescription refill on Tuesday. This is a prescription I can't live without. I am calling doctor's office at 3:00 pm. on Friday trying to get doctor's assistant to respond to CVS pharmacy authorization for refill.

Dr. Gatz never makes me feel like he is rushing to the next person. He answers all my questions without making me feel dumb. His staff is kind and caring.
