Dr. Gemma is not only an excellent Oncologist, his bedside manners, personality, and humor makes my health issues easier to deal with. I've seen many many Drs. He's the best in Winchester and surrounding areas if you need an Oncologist. I just cant Express enough how great he is.

I am a new patient of Dr.Gemma's, my first impression is that he is a really good doctor and a very compassionate person. I am a 86 year old whose doctor retired last year and I have a need for a new doctor.

I am currently being treated by Dr. Gemma for two different types of cancer. One is in Stage IV and has metastasized to my bones. Dr. Gemma is a straight shooter, and I appreciate his positive attitude while at the same time providing all the facts that I need to know. I look forward to my meetings with him, and I am so grateful that Winchester has medical resources such as Shenandoah Oncology and Dr. Gemma.

Dr. Gemma is an excellent doctor. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be writing this review right now. Six years ago, he saved my life by recognizing that I had a very rare blood disease and had me sent to uva for treatment. I can never thank him enough for what he did.

Unbelievable that it's rare that actual caring physicians still exist. Dr. Gemma is definitely a jewel to his profession. He took care of me when I was very ill and saved my life! That was 15 years ago. Instead of wasting away from an aggressive and terrifying cancer, my life was miraculously saved by this wonderful, blessed doctor. Thank you so much, Dr. Gemma. I will always think of you fondly. I recommend him highly to those in desperate need of healing.
