Dr. Nicholas Oscar Gerard

I had to pay almost $200 before they would even schedule my tooth extraction. When my son brought me in for the extraction, his office door had a sign saying they were temporarily closed. Never received a call to this affect and I understand from the people next door that others who had lived hours away had shown up for their appointments to find the office closed as well. I have never heard from them or received my payment which I made before the appointment was scheduled. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of treatment from a supposedly reputable dental surgeon. A broken hip does not constitute no explanation as to why he could not be up front by making contact with patients, let alone keeping the money without an automatic credit to our accounts.

Dr. Nicholas Gerard is a very talented and professional worker.. He takes his job very serious .. A magician to the least, at the craftsmanship and level of intellectual development of technology! I felt no pain . The surgery was over before I knew it.. Only been 5 days and feel amazing..

Dr. Gerard and staff were very friendly and nice. He told me at the consultation exactly what to expect and what to do before, during after the procedure. I did exactly as the Dr. Gerard said and the procedure and healing went just as he said. They took good of me all along the way and he kept my husband informed all along the way. Dr. Gerard and his staff deserves 11 stars.

It has been only 48 hours after my surgery to remove a wisdom tooth and a molar, but after reading some of the reviews I feel compelled to add my thoughts. Through the years I have had three other teeth removed so I am not new to this process. My experience at Dr. Gerard's office was EXCELLENT. During my consultation he sat down and explained the entire process of the procedure and that I would be put to sleep for it so I needed a driver. Also, I knew what the charge would be up front and they contacted my insurance and got approval. I paid my co-pay and was done with that. On the day of the procedure my wife took me and waited for it to be done. He came in again and explained what would be happening, started the IV and was calmly chatting with me. The next thing I knew the assistant told me she would help me to the car. He was sitting in a chair doing paperwork and said "your teeth are gone". I didn't feel a thing and don't remember anything at all. My wife had the post… surgery instructions and drove around the building to get me. From the time I sat in the chair until I got in the car was 31 minutes. I think some of the reviews are completely misleading. Either they have never been to a dentist or had any kind of surgery done or they are expecting too much. I highly recommend Dr. Gerard and his staff.

Went in because my face is swollen, he asks me “what I do on the weekends” tell him play with my grandkids” asks do I smoke “yes” then he says “you can tell me what you really do” refering to hard drugs! I tell him “if you’re acusing me of something then do it” and he kicks me out of his office. I don’t do any drugs, i take tylenol for pain. That’s it. And for him to sly make references that I’m a drug addict then get upset when I protest is to much. This guy should lose his licence

I went in for a simple extraction and sat in the waiting area for 45 minutes past my appointment time, no big deal I know offices can run behind. I get taken back to the chair. The assistant was nice and answered some of my questions and said that the doctor would be in soon. I sat in the chair for 20 minutes before he finally came in. He was very rude and seemed rushed like I was a burden. I couldn't even get a question in before he numbed me. He left the room and came back after 10 minutes to tell me I had to go to sleep to have the tooth taken out. The assistant came back in and gave me the cost and it was going to cost me twice the price that I paid for the tooth to be taken out. This place was the biggest waste of time. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Has a horrible bed side manner. Traumatized my son with his condescending "God" like attitude. Staff, Brittany is extremely rude. Worst experience ever!!!!

Love the way he puts the i.v. in with ease

I took my wife to him, after the surgery he prescribed HydrocodoneAPAP/ 7.5/500 MG.and antibiotics,Nausea control. after three days of taking the medication she got constipated big time she couldn't go at all. after i went to the pharmacist they told me that Hydrocodone will do that.I was wondering way the doctor didnt mention that at all. He does not care?
